So we were transferred to CSC on 1/9 and had our last touch on 1/24. Anybody else out there been a csc over 5-6 weeks without a touch? I want to know for sure that we are still at CSC. Are people normally notified if they are transferred out of CSC? If I call USCIS can they confirm where our case is now?

Thanks.

They tend to not touch it again after biometrics until they either approve it or transfer it to field office for an interview. Our AOS sat for 2 months or so.

This also varries depending on Name Check, which is un-predictable as to how long it will take.

Getting transfered to CSC is great due to many approvals without interview, however it is not great because there is no status update until they adjudicate.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I think you don't need to worry as you are transferred to CSC, you'll probably get the GC without interview. Good Luck!!

My last touch was on 1/28 and I'm going to ask them what's happening tomorrow!! We made an Infopass appt!!

I wouldn't worry too much yet in your case, its only been little 3 weeks, and from what I can see that is normal for waiting for the next 'touch' . We are almost at 7 weeks, so i'm getting a bit ancy.

Hi winter, Did the notice you receive literally say that your case was transferred to a "local office"?

Ok so let you know what's happened today!! The local office is more strict than the ASC, we first have to pass thru the security, and if your cellphone has picture taking function, you have to leave it to them and get it back when you leave the building.

Well, this InfoPass appt not really useful to me, because my EAD and AP was dramatically approved yesterday (the day before this InfoPass appt date) I was hesitated that should I cancel the appt? But we still go there today cause my hubby took a half day off for me already and well let see what's going on...The lady checked her computer and verify whether our address is correct or not, also make sure we put our name on our mailbox. So she said she don't know what made wrong neither, but she said I don't need the NOAs anymore since now my cases are approved. Anyway, she still email to USCIS for me to follow up my cases just as a reminder.

I'll still suggest you to make an appt with InfoPass, at least they would really look into your case, not like the 800 numbers only keep asking us to be patient and wait. Good Luck!!

P.S. Tips for who couldn't receive the NOAs - undeliverable, and you want them to resend it!! The lady suggested me to inform them by mail, make a copy of the Biometrics Appt Letter, then write your name, address and the receipt # of what you got clearly (like me I only receive I-485 case #) The 800 numbers won't care!!

So i'm approaching 2 months since the last touch on the AOS, on 1/9 we received a email stating that our case had been transferred out to CSC, on 1/16 we recieved a email that the case was recieved by the office it was transferred to (presumably California), then a touch on 1/24, then nothing. We so many people who got transferred after me getting touched or approved we are very anxious. Is this a situation where I could potentially get a infopass appointment? Maybe I could be proactive and contact my congressman?
