You haven't been around Jesuits, have you?

You haven't been around non-Jesuits, have you?

Actually, the funny thing is that I am Catholic, so I'm awaiting your condemnation...or another bible passage which should prove that you have read the Bible or gone to Mass often. Regardless, it appears that many people Jesuit and non-Jesuit alike (at least on this forum) aren't buying another list of sins that the Church issues when it feels it needs to be updated. Not everyone is going to believe the same as you do, so maybe you'll consider that other people may be fine with their own beliefs and may have critcisms for major religions proclaiming to have the power to judge others. Afterall, most major religions have roots in Judaism, and I don't recall any new sin lists being created by that faith, do you?

Sit down, it's going to be a long wait.

The reason for the Jesuits comment, that apparently you found offensive ( )is because they are known to be the more "liberal" (for lack of better words) of orders.

My posts' objective was to show you that what you say is not what the church preaches. I'm not to condemn anyone, (as if I had the power! ) and I think I have expressed my opinions with respect for others beliefs.

I cannot speak for other religions, but I can say that the catholic church teaches that we should not judge, as it is written in the bible.

Oh, and yeah, I've been around plenty non-catholics...starting with my husband ;)

I try to stay as far away as possible from any organized religion.

Not really. The catholic church is one of the only few that allow inter-religious marriages. The information is available on the vatican website. This is in accordance to the bible (1 Corinthians 7:14) :)

Not sh*tting all over your home should be common sense.

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Your grandma should spend more time on the internet panamania :P

Some people are more stuck on the heritage customs than others. My grandpa says he misses mass in latin

I was very lucky because my religion teacher was converted from another religion, so she had all the knowledge but none of the heritage bagage. She was very sweet and full of faith. But she did things like...when she got married, she went to the priest conducting the premarital counseling, and convinced him to include birth control to the agenda lol

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
