Cuban Fiance gets Argentine Police Cert!!

Hi All,

It took us 60 days and $450.usd but we did get the Argentine Police Cert!! We're so happy. Now, on Tuesday we will apply for the interview date. I'm pretty sure that beneficiaries are waiting 2-3 months or more for an interview. It is okay. We will wait patiently. I'll be in Havana on June 23rd for a week or so. This reunion will help us get through the rest of this visa journey.

How are you all doing?? I haven't posted in a while. We've been waiting for news from Argentina. How are the Cuban fiance/es doing?? And Peter Miami?? Has anyone heard from him and his new wife yet?? Lorelle, when will your visa journey be over?? I hope all is going well for everyone!! I just want to thank you all for your posts. They are all so helpful!!

Please explain what does Argentina has to do with Cuba??

Hi,

My fiance spent 9 years in Buenos Aires first at the University, then living and working there. Of course this complicated our visa process because he has since returned to Cuba.

The line below states it takes approximately 154 days to get interview in Havana. I'm hoping it won't take that long.

There is 1 petitioner who got an interview date of May 14 in February. Another petitioner has a date of June 24.

I think it is getting very busy in Havana these days.

Can you tell us about your experience with the US Intrests Section in Havana?? I'm very eager to know. I must say, the staff in Havana have been very prompt and curtious to us. Once they recieved our petition (4p) they called my fiance that same evening to have him pick up packet 3 the next day.

Well once the packet got to Havana every thing was done in a month, interview and all, they even called him and set up the interview, and they were ready to set up for the next day however my husband is from Las Tunas, and with the transportation been so bad, he was the one that asked them to give his about a week. However they did ask him lots of questions. Now we are trying again, but if is taking that long as soon as we are approved I am requesting the interview.

I have my interview date 5th June........thank you for enquiring. I have not seen anything from Peter Miami in a while but then I have not been on here as much of late.

Congratulations on the Police certificate. I had a similar experience as i had to get clearance from South AFrica and they refused to post the certificate back it had to be done by courier. In the end the courier cost ten times what the certificate did.
