Happy Monday to all. :star:

I am still stuck in NVC Hell---'administrative processing'--- as of 8am EST today. They have to finish sometime soon because they have had my documents 10 working days already! It arrived at the NVC on July 25th, and here it is August 11 and it is still 'there'. I thought waiting those 5 months at CSC was bad, but this is getting quite aggravating since this was supposed to be the quickest phase of it all! I know, I know, I know...it is all relative. Compared to those 5 months, even 18 days is a short time to wait (so far), but it is like putting the carrot on a stick and dangling it in front of the horse!

Hi cwaf

Not sure if it is a happy Monday or not I am still stuck in RFE hell. :)

An update on our case. After the 5 month wait for the NOA2 and the delay with the case getting to the NVC, things are finally happening. We've managed to get Tania an interview date of September 3! I just got the good news this morning. Now, we can start making travel plans for her to Moscow for the interview!

Thanks Andrea! It's an exciting time for Tania and me! She's a little nervous now that the interview date is suddenly just 3 weeks away! We couldn't make any definite plans until the interview date was confirmed, but now we're in high gear!

I would ask this on the regional board...each embassy does things differently and people who have dealt with the Manila embassy will have better info for you. :)

You might try calling the DOS in DC.....202-663-1225, press 1, then 0. From the time the case is received at the NVC forward, they should be able to tell you the status (i.e. when it's sent from the NVC, when the embassy has it, when the interview has been scheduled, etc.).
