I hope so! Hopefully we hear something this week. If not...then what can we do? Just have to wait it out.

I'm happy for all of those who have been approved though!

I am losing hope now. Maybe we aren't meant for each other. I really hate it. If they will deny it they should let us know now. I just want a closure because I'm so tired of waiting and all.

Don't lose hope! The waiting sucks for all of us. Some of the people who filed last year waited for 7 or 8 or 9 months to get their NOA2s. There are people still waiting (check out Estadia's timeline...she filed in like October of last year and still hasn't heard anything). Keep strong. :) This is a great time to improve communication in your relationship. Get stuff ready for once your fiance is there. In a way I think it was a blessing in our relationship because we've become so close and our communication skills are fantastic because they HAVE to be. We had an opportunity to see just how strong our relationship was...if you can get through this, you can get through just about anything.

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

Thanks Andrea, I really don't know what to think now. We waited for over 3 years and now that we have chance to be together we can't even seem to get it. I do hope we get it this week. Do you think calling the congressman would help? He is supposed to do that today but I told him to wait until Friday and if we don't hear anything from them yet then I'll ask him to call his congressman's office.

It depends on his congressmen...most of them will tell him that you are still within processing times and there's nothing they can do. In truth...a congressman's help only goes so far anyway. Even if they will get involved before you are outside of processing times, CSC will probably just say "they're within processing times, which are clearly marked and they should expect it to take that long." If they give any other answer, it's probably because you were on the verge of being approved and would have gotten the notice anyway. :( It really sucks and I wish I could give you a better answer. This waiting is ridiculous, but you'll hear something soon.

I just kept calling the number that was on the NOA2, until I finally got through to a live person. They will ask petitioners name and birthdate and benificiaries name and birthdate along with your receipt number. I asked him if they had received our petition and he said yes, on the 14th it was forwarded to the embassy in Manila. Now we can pay Delbros and call for our interview

Andrea be prepared to call ALOT!!!!! I bet I tried 50-60 times before I finally got put on hold. The automated system will just keep kicking you off until then. I started calling at noon today, and FINALLY got through at 10:30PM.

Eek! Good to know...but after the last 5 months, I can handle one afternoon...especially if I can actually DO something while waiting. :D
