Congrats to Stephen & Brianne, Liviu & Lydia (what did you do to get your NOA2 so quick???!!!) and Lean & Emil

Something isn't right with Liviu & Lydia's timeline. You'll notice that the RFE received date is the same as the petition sent date and is before the NOA1 date. My guess is that the sent date (and probably the NOA1 date) is much earlier than indicated in their timeline.

Lots of recent K1 approvals are for those of Oct,Dec 07, and Jan 08 filers.

I love seeing the '07 ones...it's just plain ridiculous that those people are still waiting! Much as I want our approval, it makes me almost as happy to see those '07 ones finally get crossed off the list.

Is it just me or does it seem that things have slowed down at the CSC? Only a week left and then its July, I was so hoping that June would be our month.

Ok, so... once we do get our NOA2, how long does it normally take to get everything else completed? (fiance is in england so would be having the interview in London)

Just really hoping that everything goes through before our wedding in October, I really dont want to have to start this whole thing over with a K3.

The best way to get an idea is to look at the timelines and search for other recent London filers. It differs dramatically from embassy to embassy. Even within the same country it can differ a lot if they have more than one embassy that does K1 interviews (we got the slow center in the US, but Dennis will be going to Vancouver, which is the much faster embassy in Canada).

I'm not convinced that USCIS is properly updating right now...or ever. Keep a weather eye on your mailbox...hopefully we'll see some NOA2s arriving by mail this week!

I think you're seeing the service centers alternate with the backlog of FBI name checks. I'm not positive about it, but it's just my gut instinct.

That would make sense. I've also heard people hypothesize that they choose a type of visa to work on for a week. When it's K-1s then we are flying on top of the world...but they choose some work-based visa, we are all sad and see nothing happen. It'll be ok...we'll all get our NOA2s eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later, but we'll all get them.

I called and talked to a very nice lady at USCIS yesterday, and all she could tell me was that we are still within the normal processing time. She said "I know it is frustrating, but just give us some time". I really wanted to go off, but she was very courteous, so I couldn't. It just gets me, that my friend filed last year before the fee increase(which was to pay for more help) and got NOA2 in 100 days. We payed three times the price ($455) and are very realistically looking at 150+ days. Where is this so-called help? I think they all must have went to VSC, because CSC processing times are at least 33% slower than last year at this time. I honestly thought we feb filers were going to "OWN" the month of June, now it's almost gone, and we have the 4th of July looming, which will probably mean people using it as a jump start to an extended vacation. I just dont want to get stuck like the last few approvals from mid-jan and God forbid early Dec. I don't want to make it to the 180 day mark, but I warned my SO that it could very well happen so just be prepared. I told her that they cant keep us apart forever. Aug 12 is our 180 days from NOA1, and I WILL rattle the cage hard if I make it to that date. I would think a background check on me would be easy, I help a secret security clearance when I was in the Marine Corps, lived in the same place since I got out, and only got in trouble with the law once in 42 years. Even then I was found not guilty. Gotta love trouble making ex-in laws. Anyway, there's my somewhat subdued rant.
