I like it very much! I'd been trying to figure out how to make it format reasonably (C&Ping into the forum strips all formatting)...do you want to keep up the list or do you want me to continue doing it and then you can make changes as they happen? I compare the list to Igor's once a week (usually on Mondays as work allows) to catch any new people. I included a bunch of the "cusp" people (NOA1 in February, but mailed earlier) because they had requested being included in our list, when you update your list would you please include them?

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

Hey :) Welcome to the forum. You are welcome to stick around and hang with us...but please bear in mind that this is the K1 visa forum, none of us are married yet. We're applying for Fiance/e visas. You will probably get better information and a much better idea of approval times in the K3 forum. :)

I like it very much! I'd been trying to figure out how to make it format reasonably (C&Ping into the forum strips all formatting)...do you want to keep up the list or do you want me to continue doing it and then you can make changes as they happen? It looks wonderful! :) Thank you so much for putting the list up like that. I can't wait to see more red on it!!

My fiance will call up USCIS tomorrow to inquire about the status. I don't know if that would help but I've been wondering how come the last updated portion was not changed when my fiance filed for a change of address. They did send him a note though that his address is already updated. I'm afraid our case was just filed up somewhere. I know i'm a bit pessimistic here but I'm so frustrated. I waited more than three years just to have my petition filed.

I wouldn't call and bug them just yet. We're well within processing times and they've barely begun on February. I know the wait is hard...but "rumor has it", so take this with all the salt you want, that if you call a bunch of times they have ways of making your case take longer. Until you're outside of processing times they have no reason to give you any information. Give it a little bit of time.

Yup...every time I see another Feb approval I do a little happy dance. Dennis is coming for a visit, he'll get here on the 28th...we'll have a glorious week and a half together before he has to go back home. I'm really, really hoping we'll have the NOA2 before he gets here. :clock:

*nod* very much so...although sometimes I think it might be less stressful to just have to get a visa! We won't know until he's actually on the plane whether they'll let him through customs or not (I've heard several cases of Canadians being denied entrance while a fiance visa was pending because the customs officers didn't believe they'd come back...do they have any idea how much time and money we've already devoted to this? No way are we giving it up just to embark on a huge fight with the government to prove we didn't plan it)...if we'd had to wait for a visa at least we would know he was going to get through. The last time he visited I was sitting with bated breath waiting for the text to say they had let him through.

Can I ask a silly question? How do they know someone has a fiance visa pending?

Can I ask a silly question? How do they know someone has a fiance visa pending?

I think it depends on what questions they ask. I assume they can look someone up in their system and find out if it's pending...so you don't want to lie to them...they can always issue a ban if they find out you did. Sometimes the officers get really interested in what you're doing and they start asking very pointed questions and in order to tell the truth you have to tell them what you're doing...I think it mostly happens if the person seems nervous, concerned, or draws attention in some way. Last time Dennis came here they asked what he was doing, he said visiting friends and they left it at that...he had one carry on, no checked luggage, and a return ticket for five days later...so he didn't seem suspicious. One of the best pieces of advice I've heard is to be confident and completely technically honest, but don't tell your life story...and pack LIGHT.

Anyway...I'm off to bed so I can get to work in the morning! :) Goodnight all...here's hoping we see some NOA2 dreams come true this week!!
