Okay I just check the igors list myself and I lost a spot i'm back to 114! Thats #######!!!!

Check again in a little while. With USCIS's updates showing up and disappearing again, Igor's has been iffy. Give it until tomorrow to stabilize and all should be well

I know how you feel, i think we all do here. It kills me to see the people that filed at VSC AFTER me receiving their interviews already this month. They're done, and we're still stuck waiting for step 2 of the damn process.

I know how you guys feel. I had to stop looking at VSC stats for a long time, because it's not fair, but this is the way it is for us. Looking at those numbers is just depressing. We'll all get there...it will just take a little bit longer and once it's done it will have all been worth it. All we can do is smile and try to keep our sanity until we're together.

CSC just updated their processing times. As of May 15th, they are working on November 17th, 2007 files.

By the way, as per igor's list, there are 9 November filers remaining and 14 October filers. I hope those guys get cleared out soon.

I still see 4 from September and 6 from August :(

When USCIS updates their processing time it bumps people out of the first category on Igor's list, since they are no longer within normal processing times. That's why we all get a little ride up a few places. :)

So they just put people in another category. So it would seem the little ride up means nothing?

Not necessarily. Part of the reason that Igor's list works this way is that a lot of those people from six months or more ago have stopped being active. Igor's gives lists a "last active" date and a good portion of those older NOA1 dates have last active dates in 2007. They are people who got approved and just stopped coming to VJ. So they were still taking up a spot even if they've long since interviewed and gotten married. (There are a few exceptions to that and I pray they get their NOA2s soon.)

I got another fortune cookie at dinner and this one said "Concentrate on your long term goals. Success will soon be yours!" Apparently the cookies are trying to tell me something...I hope they're right!!

Unless I'm mistaken (and that's been known to happen), the data on Igor's list is compiled strictly from timeline data on VJ and doesn't look at nor in any way is tied directly to USCIS information. Also, the last column in his table is "Updated Last". That reflects the last time that couple's VJ timeline was updated and may or may not reflect how active that person has been on VJ. For example, my "updated last" date is 2/25/08, because there has been no USCIS activity on my petition since February and no need for me to update my timeline. But, I continue to be "active" on VJ. By the way, Igor's List presently shows the earliest February K-1 filer at 85 and we're at 101! :)

JMO.....pulling for the CSC and all of us Feb filers!

For the most part you're right...however if you read the section titles the one we mostly look at is "within the CSC processing time (2007-11-17)". The date is taken directly from the USCIS's list of processing times. So when CSC changes their processing times, people get moved out of that section.

I may not have been clear about what I meant when I mentioned inactive people. A lot of people disappear from VJ after they get their approval...with or without updating their timeline. A lot of the people who show August/September/October NOA1 dates and were last updated in 2007 have stopped updating their timelines.

It's alright guys. We've already waited close to 4 months now. Just another 2 more months or so...we'll get there soon. Besides...summer is nearly here and summer time always seems to go by a little faster.

Monty-are you guys going to have a civil ceremony and then a big wedding in March or are you going to hold off on entering the country until January/February? We're going to have a civil ceremony as soon as the visa is granted (he'll be coming here as soon as I can get a flight to Canada so we can drive back together) and then a big wedding in May. I'm in the throes of wedding planning...I never realized what a girly-girl I was until now.

We want to travel back together and I won't be able to go there until March since I plan on staying there for a couple of weeks (need to save up my vacation time). So we'll just have a civil ceremony when she gets here. Then in the summer we'll have a big wedding...we've got to keep the family and friends happy too!

Anyway, I'm a March CSC filer. Looks like I'll be playing WoW without Lin next to me for a while longer eh?
