I am officially a married woman! We had a teeny, tiny ceremony at my church on Thursday with just my mom, one of my good friends, my little brother, and my father there. Then Dennis and I took off for a mini honeymoon at a little B&B a couple hours north of here. It was wonderful and it feels so good to finally be married after all of that waiting! It was worth every minute of the wait to get to where we are now. :)

Thank you for the thoughts everyone! Now we need to get the rest of February through the process! We'll be filing for AOS/EAD/AP as soon as we get the official certificate back from the state (they mail it to us...hopefully we'll get it in the next two weeks or so). It's so nice to finally have Dennis home. He's already itching to be able to work. He all but has a job waiting for him as soon as the EAD is approved (he ran into a former boss about a week before leaving Canada who was also in the immigration process, only he was moving for a job in LA...the former boss said "I work closely with a company who needs a guy like you in Salt Lake. Let me know as soon as you have your work permit.") Right now he's getting everything unpacked and moved...the relocube was delivered yesterday so now he has all of his stuff. :)

Firstly, congrats on the wedding. Secondly, you're right - we DO need to get the rest of us February stragglers through. I believe there's only three of us left now: Ray (tomorrow) cwaf (Monday) and me (20th). Then we can pretty much lay the February filers thread to rest! :wow:

Welcome back MissYoko. :) It's crazy how much this whole process costs! We'll be filing AOS/EAD/AP at the beginning of next week...bleh! Another $1015 off to the government so that we can...wait some more.

oooooooooh yes and for me visas fees are *2 for k2

AOS/EAD/AP will be more expensive too...

but we don't care, we just want to be together.

Richard will be there on the 14! He will stay there 'till we all fly to Chicago on the 30.

Right now i'm just so scary by the interview... 13 days to wait and see...

Don't worry too much. Just make sure you have everything you need and that you're confident. :) At our interview they clearly gave us an easier time because we were extremely organized and had everything they asked for within a few seconds. The other two couples were searching through various packages and didn't know what they had or where it was. Just follow all of the instructions and advice you've gotten on VJ and you'll be fine
