DC infopass about EAD

Happy Saturday everyone!

My husband's 90 days waiting for his EAD is almost up and we wanted to set-up an infopass with the DC office after the 90 days. However, I have never once seen an open infopass for the DC office when we try to arrange the appointment online. Any suggestions?

My husband got his fingerprints taken in Maryland, where the people were very friendly. Do you think it would be worth trying to walk in to that office if the infopass option continues to fail?

Thanks so much!

I know we made an info-pass once it was passed the 90 days for the EAD. Try your local office again to see if you can get an appointment. I don't know if you can just want into an office. I know you can't here.

Good Luck!

i was able to get a info pass within 3 weeks in Fairfax, I think that's what they consider as DC office.

We filed everything January 17 and I just received EAD and AP.

Sometimes it is worth it to wait an additional 30 days after the 90.

You'll see.

Otherwise you will get a appointment very quick. Some people also walk in and ask very nicely for an info pass right there.

sarakosova,

Keep trying the InfoPass route. They only book a limited period of time ahead, you've got to book quickly when the next block of appointments opens up.

If the office is so busy that the InfoPass appointments fill up quickly it's probably too busy to be able to handle walk-ins. But you can always give it a try if you've got the time and nothing else to do.
