I was just saying to hubby, I'd take a job that pay less in a heartbeat if it gave me work to do and I felt some satisfaction, over a job that pays lots of money and bores me to death.

The only thing I love to do is nothing. But nothing don't pay.

I don't think you'd want a job that pays you to do "nothing".

And by nothing, I mean nothing. You're not allowed to do anything. Go to the office, sit there all day long and do NOTHING. Stare at the wall.

Would you really want a job like that?

Does it pay enough?

Yes, let's say it does. Do you still want it?

Only if I can get a contract that says if they fire me or lay me off I get a few mill in severance. That'll do a number on my skillset so I need to be compensated.

I personally think anybody who can paint and do it right - is a genius.
you are right on that one, painting is hard work.

I am not like that at all, makes my skin crawl when I am around people that judge other people. TEACHERS, my husband is an English teacher and I respect him more than anyone in this world. Teachers rock, I may change from being a counselor to a teacher. I always wanted my own classroom, maybe little kids, cause I love to color and paint with finger paints. Teachers are also under paid in this country and that is a shame, they have a tough job. The only job that I might have a problem with is something that involves human bodily fluids. I always wanted to be a doctor or nurse, but I have this strange phobia of someone throwing up on me. I am not so good with blood either, I admire someone who can deal with that. Yes it is hard when my daughter use to get sick, lol I think of the times I would sweat knowing she was going to blow at any min. wuerg019wq4.gif

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I voted 'no'.

no... i done allot of crappy jobs in my life prior to finishing college..

Me too - and I'm still not working at my full potential because I lack work experience now that I've qualified.

Many stores, fast food places, etc., are full of intelligent and hard working people who can't get better jobs for a variety of reasons. They may be full-time students and working weekends to supplement their study costs. They may be mothers who have taken a few years off work to raise their children and are having to start from the bottom rung of the ladder again. They may be recent arrivals to the area for whom the job is only a placeholder while they interview for more illustrious positions. Etc. etc.

no.

IMO if someone is looking down on someone bc of their job or size of their bank accounts.....maybe they should think about who is really the better person.

Teachers have already been mentioned but there are also many other professions that remain poorly paid but which I greatly respect.

I said no. I have mad respect for people that work crappy jobs. I certainly wouldn't want to do them. Don't get me wrong, I've had my share of ####### jobs but I've moved on from there. If it weren't for those people doing those ####### jobs a lot of things in the world wouldn't get taken care of.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
