A K1 or K3 wouldnt take that long. Which means you probably are apply for another visa class.

Which forms were filed? Who filed the forms?

If your father was the petitioner and you live abroad, then yours is not a spouse or fiance visa. Please tell us more about the basis on which you are intending to immigrate. Is your father a US Citizen or just a permanent resident?

It sounds like this is a family member of a permanent resident case. We do have a forum for that where members can help more.

You said, you case has been transferred. If it's true, then you case should be at NVC. You can call NVC at the number listed below and follow

NVC automated voice response number

(603) 334-0700

you will.... press 1 for English press 2 for Spanish

press 1 for information about your immigrant visa because CR1 is immigrant Visa AKA Green Card

It will then ask you if you know your USCIS receipt number.....press 1

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

Unless your father also has an "approval notice" then yes the transfer would be to either Texas or Vermont but the transfer doesn't necessarily mean you are close to petition approval. Without knowing the details and timeline for your case, it's going to be hard to give you further answers.
