HELLO ALL,

I WANTED TO KNOW SOME INFORMATION FOR A TRIP I AM PLANNING AT THE END OF THE MONTH. I WILL BE VISITING MY HUSBAND IN KINGSTON AND WANTED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. WE TALKED ABOUT IT AND DECIDED TO GO TO PORTMORE.

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT INTO THE AREA?

portmore is relatively close to ALOT of places...are u spending time in portmore ? Alot of beaches in portmore u can go and enjoy some fish and festival at Hellshire and so forth..let me know..how long ur planning to saty and such

Gosh I'm writing and i'm getting jealous..Iwanna be in Portmore...I'm from there :thumbs:

to be honest there is no main attraction in portmore...there is Hellshire beach..just beach really..most things surround portmore but not much just houses :)

I have a good friend in Portmore. Everytime I have visited her I have never really noticed any hotels or anything. It doesn't have the touristy appeal. Hellshire beach is the only thing I have every heard of in regards to Portmore. How come you guys decided on Portmore?

she can go into new kingston if so might as well stay in new kingston more to do there...theatres and shopping and the malls and stuff

I went to Portmore last year and went to Hillshire (lil' ochie better).....nothing that impress me about it. the houses just bunch up next to each other. It's not a place that i could go visit more than a few hours.

my girl......manchester (mandeville) might not have beach but we have some of the most beautiful homes. You should take a drive around there sometimes. :lol:

I haven't been to MayPen since I was a little kid. I always wanted to go to Negril and Port Antonio.

Last year I went home it was for my parents house opening and the year before that was my uncles I haven't been home to be a tourist yet.
