Now that we are married, I am getting ready to file for the AOS, work and travel authorizations. Do I need to file a seperate AOS form for my step daughter who is 8 years old and do I fill out a travel authorization form for her? Any advice is greatly appreciated because I did not find the abswer in the filing instructions. Thanks!

It is important to ask your questions in the proper forum for the best chance of getting an anser... You will find that these questions are much better answered in the AOS forum... (I will move it there)

Permanent residencey is an application that EACH person must make individually.... No riding of the coatails anymore.... If you want her to have travel benefits in the interim you must also prepare an I-131 for her...

YMMV

yes - essentially you are filing 2 AOS packages - 1 for wife, 1 for child . Since the AP is all part and parcel of the total fee, i would say go ahead and fill it out. You can't predict how quickly the GC process will go, so why noit have that in your back pocket in case you wish to travel eitehr back home or just for fun!

I had to file for my daughter as well. We made 2 separate sets of forms and then put them in 1 larger envelope. 2 separate checks etc.... worked out just fine.

Good luck
