slept in... back was hurting a tad bit from exercise yesterday, me and my friend had a power walking competition lol... talked to yacine :) oh okie then I cut up a bunch of fruits.. mangos, seedless watermelon, honeydew melon... I guess I should've got a cantelope too! summer fruits are great... cut the grass... put down new cypress mulch all around the house... I feel sooooooo bored... I still have the "i'm in school and should be studying" instinct, it's still kicking in even after finals !! then I went on ebay and bought yacine a remington blade replacer for the electric razor I got him in february... :)

So far just relaxing here on VJ and waiting for hubby to come online for our date :luv:

Hope everyone else is doing great today :D

Hi mina!

I just wanted to let you know that Tunisians absoloutely adore Turkish food... At the apartment me and Yacine stayed at, there were no restaurants except Turkish specialities! Sandwiches are pretty good from these places, but I didn't care too much for the sauces.. I think Yacine got a food poisoning bout from it too, not because it was Turkish food, but the Tunsians probably didn't handle the meat that well.

There was a pizza hut too (strange!) But it was closed and abandonned... lol

We were awake at 8 thanks to the cat rummaging in a box of papers under the window. She was agravated that they kept her from being able to jump up in the window. Layed there in Abdel's arms until 9:37 then reminded him we would miss the farmer's market if we didn't get up.

Stopped at Donut Connection for Abdel's coffee and stuff I shouldn't be eating on the way to the farmer's market, but made up for it by buying lots of fresh veggies. Came home and checked VJ, then went to my mom's so Abdel could help fillet the fish they caught yesterday with my brother. They had 21 nice size bream (pronounced brim). Read 22 pages while I waited for him.

Came home and started laundry and cooked a mess of fish, ate and read about 34 more pages. Finished a load of laundry then took a nap, now back to read the next 67 page chapter.

Abdel's watching the independent film channel in the other room because if he comes in here he starts kissing me and I can't get any studying done.

Back to the economics of contract law. I think I'd much rather be reading VJ!

I had a leisurely morning, enjoyed some coffee, then took my teenager to the mall and roamed for a bit. It's cool and rainy here, so I could not resist a good nap. I needed it sorely. Then I woke up and had my lovely evening time with Mohammed. Now I'm up for some dinner and a little tv watching. Tomorrow I will attack my first ever mahshy adventure. I'm sure hungry for it!

A little late to be posting, I guess... but maybe better late than never! :P got my wake up call @ 6:30am from my love so I could be at my office for 7:30. Worked until 10:45 then was late for a 10:30 rehearsal (oops!). Had a very productive rehearsal til 1:15, then home to chat w/ my sweetie for a bit. Was soooo late for a wedding party of a friend of mine who is married to a Turkish man (oops again!) and then quick grocery stop and home for another "date" w/ my love! Now reading VJ and waiting to go to the henna party for my friend who's wedding party I was late for earlier today.... trying to be on time for that :P

Have a lovely evening all!
