Thanks for your responses,,,I called Buenos Aires embassy about a week ago, they listened to me, but all they said was to email them and wait for a response, I guess after all this waiting,,it just seems that there shouldnt be a problem. we have all papers they asked from us.

I guess we'll just wait and see what this week brings us...

Thanks again,

Mely

Mely,

So sorry to hear about the waiting!

Try emailing the embassy and remember to include your embassy case number in the email header

PM Charly_and_Kary, they just had their interview, and can probably tell you how long they had to wait for an appointment.

Chin up! and Good Luck

Caro

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about the waiting. My fiancee mailed the DS230-I as she was instructed, along with a passport copy,2 passport size pictures, and the checklist. Then she gathered all the other paperwork for the interview, then she called for an appointment for the medical exam. They scheduled the interview on the phone the very next week after she got her medical done. Each embassy has its own procedures and waiting times. Read again the instructions from packet 3 and check if it says anything regarding the appointment for the interview and the steps to be followed. The istructions my fiancee received with DS 230-I had 3 steps: 1-return this form along with a passoprt copy, 2 passport type pictures, and the checklist signed after all the paperwork had been put together, then call for medical exam and interview appointment (they can be scheduled in the same day.)

Patience and good luck!

Vik
