Cenomar Verification

We had our interview on Thursday, March 6, 2008. Everything went well but the consulate officer said they would issue the visa following the verification of my fiance's cenomar. She paid the document verfication fee which the embassy told me not to pay in advance. Obviously, the document verification can extend to all documents but the officer said only the cenomar would need to be verified, likely becuase my fiance is 40 years old and never married. There will be no problem with verification.

My question is this. Anyone know how long they will take before verification and visa issuance? We had anticipated approval on March 6th and planned for her flight to USA on March 28th. I am on vacation the week of March 31. Now, I'm fearful to book flight on that day because there is no guarantee the visa will arrive by then. Had it not been for cenomar verification I was ready to book in anticipation of receiving the visa in time. Now I don't know whether to take the chance.

Any previous experiences?

Thanks.

I wonder why it took you that long to get your CENOMAR. Mine was delivered 6 working days after I filed online and paid my transaction in the bank.
