This is a replica of the packet 4: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ost&id=4468

And this is what some people think the packet 3: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ost&id=3933, but for real, we don't have Packet 3 in the Philippines.

I found these in some Manila CR-1 members timelines.

case complete..........interview date

10-10-07...................11-20-07

10-04-07...................11-21-07

11-16-07....................1-22-08

don't know if that helps. you can try checking some other timelines.

CR1/IR1 Immigrant applicants do not get packet 3.

Unlike K1 Non-Immigrant Visa, most of the paperworks for a CR1/IR1 applications are already done before it even gets to the US Embassy. We dont have to submit or bring visa application forms, NBI clearance, etc., to the embassy. They would already have it.

After our (CR/IR) case completion at NVC, it gets transferred to Manila and we wait for packet 4. Which is pretty much just your appointment schedule at SLEC and your interview date. That's it.

Looks like Roy and Yazi have you covered though. Just wanted to elaborate a bit. :-)
