Hi Everyone,

I just got home from the hospital and will take Job later to see his little brother. Jinky is sore but recovering. We didn't think Joshua was going to come out. The doctor had to use a suction cap and it popped off of the baby's head a couple times, causing bleeding and swelling on the back of his head. He is under observation for at least 24 hours, so mom couldn't nurse him. We're hoping that she be able to later today. I got a chance to hold him in the nursery but the back of his head is very swollen and sore. Hopefully the swelling will go down quickly.

He looks so much like his big brother Job. I was shocked to see a full head of hair....LOL

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers. Jinky is very appreciative of all the support.

Congratulations!! Oh, the poor thing.. I wish them both a fast recovery. You're right, so much hair The lips look like he got them from Jinky. But wait another year or so, it can change.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, he is so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! The swelling will soon go down even though he will be sore , my first born had forceps and he has a slight cut on his head. I am so happy for you all, he is a real cutie!

Jinky commented that his hair is curly, like mine. I've never seen so much hair on a baby...hahahaha. He stopped crying when I talked to him as the nurses were cleaning him off. You can see him gazing up at his momma. His eyes were looking around...just overwhelming. I just hope he's gonna be okay and that his momma will be able to start nursing him soon.

I have been watching this thread for DAYS! I was checking in as soon as I got up, every couple of hours each day, and before bed. Jonny had to endure with, "Wait! I have to see if they had the baby yet!!!" before we did anything I think before long he started asking me for updates as well
