Good evening everyone!

Yep, another new joinee to this wonderful community. I stumbled across the site one day while I was looking up additonal fiance Visa information! Thank goodness I found you! My fiance and I have relied heavily on this site as well as to a brief visit to a lawyer by my fiance.

We just filed our K-1 on Thursday, March 6th. I sent it overnight and it appears it was signed for at 11:13am on Friday, March 7th! I really, really hope that things to start moving relatively quickly. I am a bit nervous about the submission, only because we didn't have a lawyer fill out the forms, ect. I found all the info from the great postings and information that is found on this site, so I know I shouldn't have anything to worry about! So I just wanted to thank you all for such a fanastic site for people who want to "do it on their own."

A little bit about myself and fiance....we 'met' back in 2005 as we worked for the same company, me in US and he in India. We got to talking via our company's instant messaging service and phone and became fast friends....I was sent to India on business in June 2007 so needless to say my fiance and I got the opportunity to spend some time together. The only caveat is that I was staying in Chennai, India and he stays in Mumbai. We were able to see each other for a total of 14 days while I was there....after I came back home, we've been communicating non-stop. We decided to go for the K-1 and now we wait.....

Again, thank you all for the great information! I look forward to making some new friends! Take care!
