Hello!

Im new here and not so familiar with the K-1 processing. I have few questions and hope to be answered from the people who have been through with the process.

1. Whats the approximate time for the beneficiary to receive the packet after it lefts NVC?

2. Do they require specific time to submit all the documents they ask in Packet 3?

3. When do they send the Packet 4? Upon receiving the Packet 3 documents?

4. Does it take time to get a birth cert., cenomar and NBI clearance?

5. How do I know if I already have an appointment date prior from receiving the Packet 3? Where do I check it and what does it take?

Thank you in advance!!

i would say every case differs from one to another and by the ways those 2 notices that petitioner's received those are not packets they were notice of actions (noa1 and noa2, the 3rd letter which the benificiary would received that is the packet that includes your interview date, medical date, requirements to bring and forms to fill in...but anyhow here was mine:

1. 1 1/2

2. all those requirements stated in packet you will bring those during your interview

3. once u receive the packet your up for the interview unless they will ask u for RFE ( which usually would happen after the interview but if your documents are complete nothing to worry about this one)

4. NSO cenomar and birth certi. (mine was 5 days process..this is in cebu) NBI for travel abroad (it was 7 days for me)

5. I didn't really now my schedule of interview till i got my packet, but I had a friend who's packet didn't show up until her day of interview so she checked her case on the uscis website....http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

hope it helps...
