hello again , i got a call from the consulate yesterday morning about 9:10 am , the lady said come monday at 1:30 PM to take you papers , i was very confused i could not even ask what papers ( the evidences i have submitted or visa or whatever ) i was stupid not to ask coz i spent the night talking to my love online i was so sleepy.

and if i should bring my passport that put me in a mess , because she didn't say anything about a visa or passport , i just want to know what's there , my fiancee called the WD and they said still pending no visa issued , so im in nerves wreck right now.

don't they normally say bring ur passport or she forget or our petition returned again , any advice , thank you

Salshi,

I read your previous post and gathered what she may be talking about are papers you submitted as of evidence. Maybe they are done looking at them and want more. They are not always clear. Whatever happens you will be ok because you will bring your passport with you nevertheless. So be on the safe side, take your folder of evidence you showed before and take your passport then you will be fine.

I wish you a good appointment at the embassy.

It does seem stupid if that is what they are doing, but hopefully you will get some answers today. Good luck with everything.

Although you had to go way out of your way for something so trivial, it does seem worth it to at least know your case will not be sent back and that they did review your evidence.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I can't say for sure, but when they were finally satisified with my husbands answers, and had decided to issue the visa they sent him out the door with all of the evidence we provided, with the exception of the police report, medical, DS230, I-864.

I thought you already got the visa? I notice you had a link, and I didn't read it.

Okay, just read it.

Perhaps you passed the test and they are doing the AP. But to me it sounds like they are finished with your proof.

Just to ease your mind, when we were denied and they actually did send our case back they didn't give him back his evidence.

Good luck!

Salshi, Don't be upset...

We are all suffering in our own private hells here. Sometimes, we see a post and don't know what advice to offer. I have made many mistakes by offering the wrong advice. So, please don't be angry.

I really don't know what think about this picking up papers (without saying to bring in passport). It could very well mean the visa is approved (and you got a cranky officer who is unprofessional).

I hope for your case, it means GOOD NEWS!
