It must be real frustrating to see people approved with a month, while you have been waiting months. I just do not understand how they can play that way. I guess it takes longer to follow up on information then some other places.

Good luck!

me too.. boooo :crying::crying::crying:

Lurking,

Thanks for starting this thread. This definitely is helping us a lot. Just a quick question: Where did you get this data? Have they all posted in this forum? You mentioned that the following people got approved on 03/07/2008: Zank & Shers; Sibel & Muha; Paula & Mark; Mirjana & Brian. I never have seen their posts here. I am not doubting. I am just curious if there are another forum that I have missed.

I really appreciate where you are doing here.

Are we sure all the data relates to K-3 filers only? It just seems like the K-1 filers do get processed much faster ....

It's ok.. VJ people have been most helpful (even including the ones that I had disagreements with).. they have provided WAY MORE information than any USCIS worker ever could.. also, here's a tip I received from a local office person... next time you call USCIS 1-800, tell them you want to speak with a "officer" instead.. the local office person told me that the first person you talk to don't know jack.. they know what you know based off the website.. nothing more.. after getting to an "officer", then they will know what you are talking about..

Filed: K-3 Visa Country: Brazil
Timeline
It has been eight (8) months since the chaos and flood of petitions overwhelmed the USCIS centers during June and July of 2007.

My question is this: How many folks who mailed in a K-3 petition (the I-130 form followed by the I-129F form) on or after August 1, 2007 have gone to the interview phase (wife going to consulate interview)? I mean, the K-3 petition is supposed to expedite bringing your husband or wife to the USA while he/she waits for AOS, and 8 long months have gone by...so where are the K-3 visas?

Frankly, I don't care if 1,000 people had their K-3 "approved" by the USCIS since August...I want to see who has successfully gone through the entire process up to and including the NVC process and getting an interview date at a consulate.

Friends, it's March 10, 2008...a long time since August 2007. Where are the completed K-3s? Where are the folks who have even gone through the NVC with their I-129Fs? Where are the NVC case numbers for anyone's I-129F since August 1, 2007?

Show me some meaningful data...not wish lists.

august filers have only now began to be approved at uscis and are now going through NVC, it will still be a while until one of us gets an interview date

we'll see pretty soon how this is going to turn out

Sean, if your approval date is 3/4/08 it is a little hard to get the NVC information. They are just working on I129F petitions from August now. There are a couple that have been pass the NVC and interviewed. Do the search yourself. That is not what I am looking for in this thread.

Through the information I have read in other forums and the information in this thread, i have assessed that the USCIS did what they needed to get through quick fast and dirty. Lets see what they have to say to the ombudsman.

I see you can't get enough of me Seanconnery. You really should get rid of that chip on your shoulder. I created the list, I have submitted the final paperwork for CR1 at the NVC So why would you consider this a wish list? What exactly would I be wishing for? Go spread your misery someplace else.

This list is exactly what it is. Do not hate on people who have received approvals. You should congratulate them. If you want meaning full data collect it sean. No one is stopping you. IF the USCIS gives an approval for an I129f that is meaningful to me. It means they are completing the process differently then they were last month. There is an inconsistancy to what they are doing to the petitions. There appears to be an inconsistance from the CSC to the VCS. That means a lot to my research.

I want people to use common sense when they see your contrived tables and get your premature "congratulations," as if they're on the way to the interview stage. When I see someone get an interview for K-3, who applied after July 2007, then I'll congratulate them.

I'd have confidence in a K3 process completing if I just saw and approved I-129F petition for spouse get a case number assigned at NVC. An approval notice for a spouse case hasn't meant the case file would be forwarded to NVC for over a year now. Certainly lots of approved petitions weren't forwarded per publicly announced policy. Has that policy changed? NVC will tell us soon enough.

Sean, An approval is just what it is. Approved. So I have never seen someone not get congratulations for an approved petitions.

You know what makes me laugh about this. I was talking about administratively closed petitions since December 5th. I have been searching out timelines and reading peoples signatures. Cut and pasting them to prove to my lawyer he messed up our case. Take your negative & brooding personality someplace else.

I am creating this chart to discover the patter of what USCIS is doing with petitions, if you read the first post in the thread. I am curiouse to see what happens to the petitions that where administratively closed.

Sean U pushbrk I was surprised that I did not see you harassing people in the January, February filers forums. So stop harassing me or I will report you to a moderator.

For those who have recently received a I129F/K3 approval there is an extremely good chance that it will be sent to the NVC, which is the pattern for other VJ users who have had both petitions approved at the same time.

At the time my friends case was administratively closed in December I started chart to follow the pattern. Things have been shaken up, but it looks good for you. So if you think it, it shall be. Always think the best, the best is what you will get. Be like sean and you will be going to live a miserable life.

I'm not harassing you. You weren't even mentioned in my post. You would like to see how many I-129F for spouse petitions are approved. I'd like to see some approved petitions forwarded to NVC. It's as simple as that.

Always think the best, the best is what you will get. Be like sean and you will be going to live a miserable life.

I want people to use common sense when they see your contrived tables and get your premature "congratulations," as if they're on the way to the interview stage. When I see someone get an interview for K-3, who applied after July 2007, then I'll congratulate them.

You said "Congratulations on accomplishing something many deemed in possible!" which implies they got a K-3 petition through the system. There is still no proof of that fact. So your "congratulations" is premature and meaningless.

Be honest and accurate. That's not asking too much is it?
