Honestly, I didn't ask. I gave them my I-129F receipt number and they pulled everything up that way. I am just happy that we will continue down the K-3 route. I didn't like the idea of spending a few additional months messing with NVC. Two weeks sounds good to me.

No touches except when I called CSC directly to inquire.

Still being lazy and waiting to do AOS.

Our I129F was NOA2'd by USCIS Mar 13 & rec'd by NVC on Apr 3 (called today & got case number). The rep I spoke to said that they usually get them forwarded to Consulate w/in 48 hours - I guess she probably meant 2 business days. I have heard 2 weeks from others @VJ. Still, good to know it's at NVC!

Although out I130 was NOA2'd by USCIS on Mar 13, it has apparently not yet been received by the NVC.

Lurking - if you're still updating your chart, this is for Brian & Hannah. BTW, you have us on there 2x. As Hannah & Brian and as Brian & Hannah. Once will suffice ;-).

Congratulations on NVC receiving your cases, CG and K32007!

My case was approved 6 days after yours, CG, so I am hopefull I'll be able to hear something from NVC within the next couple of weeks. So far, I've mostly been calling their automated system. The answer I get: "We have no information on your case". Starting tomorrow, I'll try with the 1-2 options in their menu.

I didn't have an answer about the I-130 the other day, but it turns out that CSC only forwarded the I-129F.

I love being out of the incompetent hands of USCIS. NVC received our K-3 case on Thursday and I already got an email saying they had sent it to the embassy today. At this rate, we might just get a May interview. At worst case, it will be June.

How do you know when you file has been "touched?"

Does anybody have a phone number to call and talk to a live person regarding their "pending status?"

No, can you believe it!! I think they are messing with us ALL OVER again Juan Carlos.... I don't understand!!! :crying:

I called both USCIS today (they calm they sent it to NVC on 3/25, but they told something different last week and that they send a bulk this pass week) and NVC calms they dont have record of it! But there is another VJ member that got approved on 3/26 from CSC and she already has a case assigned... what's up?!?!?!

Maybe they are treating us special because we had long secruity checks... lucky Us!!! We are special, What else can it be.... Also when I called NVC they told me it can be another 90 days to receive and input into their system.... How luckYY :unsure:

Did you try calling them??? Any of them?? Did you get your K-3 visa approve as well?? They should at least sent that over, I have no idea what they are doing!!!! USCIS is a BIG MESS!!!!

Let wish us luck this weekend and Inshallah that our petitions get to NVC by Monday!!!

FINALLY !!!!!!!!!! :dancing:

Our petitions were approved on April 2nd for both I-129F and I-130, but we are pursuing K-3. Our attorney only now received NOA2 letters and the website does not indicate any change.

Someone is working, but the website is lax....

My wife still needs to travel a long ways, to get one of her three police certificates… and traveling is not an easy task in Bolivia.

We did not anticipate approval until May, so things are moving along. We sent our I-130 in the last of October.

Keep up the faith and I hope everyone starts getting approved quickly.

Hello, Nita...

Yes, I guess we are VERY special, he he. I've been reading several forums about NVC not getting approved petitions. Most of them agree that if you don't hear anything from NVC after four weeks, it is time to call CSC again. Most of the times your papers are simply lost and they have to request them from the National Records Center, and the forward them to NVC. So... for the next 10 days I'll ve calling NVC. If nothing shows up, I'll be calling my CSC friends, once again.

AAahhmmm... one day, this will all be over... and we'll be able to look back and remember these days of uncertainty and emotional rollercoaster. But we are closer, Nita!!

I'll let you know if anything comes up.
