Hi Ana,

Wow it's time to move already. I love it! All our people made it through the Visa Journey and are moving on. We still have a few to go, but not many. Bex is having a big wedding in two weeks. I hope she shows us a picture. Nick arrives Sept 30 and I'm trying to put something together for a little marriage ceremony/party for about a dozen people on Oct. 5 at a friend's house. LOL, I'm giving him just 5 days after arriving so he doesn't have a chance to back out.

I would like to hear from Tuty and how things are going with her. Do you remember the map I made showing where everybody lived? The hurricane Gustav just hit the town where Donnie lives this morning. We've been watching it progress here because there is always a threat that it could land anywhere. I hope he doesn't have any wind damage or flooding to report.

Have a good flight Ana :star:

Anaaaaaaaaa you're coming home!!! That's great news. Well hurry and get over here girl, just in time for playoffs, the start of the pats season and we're having gorgeous weather! ;)

 Mama Nich. Somehow I think he feels just as lucky as you. ;) Have a wonderful ceremony. Sounds like Gustav wasn't as bad as they predicted. Still so sad there was some loss of life. :(

We're still at the NVC...two and a half weeks *sigh* sometimes I just feel like lemmings.gif Still feels better than waiting at USCIS. Trying hard to keep perspective here. ;)

Well Kim, it could be all that international travel and "living" here that Russ did that they are sorting out. You never know what they have on you they need to verify. They're probably counting on their fingers and toes to see how many days he was here, and here again before they realize he didn't overstay on any one time. If somebody starts talking, they lose count and have to start over. Who knows? It's going to happen, there's no doubt, but soon would be good.

I couldn't have spelled the past 10 years out for them any better. They've also got everything they need in their system because of his 'denial'. Others who have had similar circumstances haven't been held up so who knows really. You would think this was rocket science! ;)

It seems some folks are just chosen at random. I'm trying hard to hold on to that day I'm finally off to pick him up! :)

Our sweet ANA is coming to America!!! Awwww....wish i could hug you girl!

Hope you have a safe and enjoyable flight!

Let us know how it all went in about a week...lol....as soon as you're done hugging Jeff ;)

We had a gorgeous Labor Day weekend! A friend of mine from Chicago was down at the beach for 2 days and we spent some time together and yesterday me Lee had a great day at the beach!

September is here and the noisy tourists are almost gone! So time for us to start riding our matching red bikes and have some fun ;) oh...and get married also! :D

Kim I am really sorry for that delay but as hard as it is we all know you are a positive person and that will get you through it.

As you said...the bottom line is...you and Russ will be together soon!

I hope Gustav didn't bother anybody too much... I felt bad for all those people that left their homes not knowing what they would come back to.. And all this while we had a gorgeous and sunny Labor Day weekend... Thank God it was not as bad as they expected...

Hope everybody has a happy Tuesday! Which by the way feels like Monday. Hmmm....wonder why?! he he he

Hi everyone! We had the interview last Wednesday and we were APPROVED! I am so glad I decided to go to the interview. I truly believe if I wouldn't have gone we would have been denied. The consul lady questioned me for about 5 minutes and it wasn't easy. She only talked to my fiance for about 30 seconds. My fiance will be flying to Nashville tomorrow to spend a few days with some of her family and I will go this weekend to bring her home. Once she gets here we will start planning the wedding.

Oh Yay. Congratulations Chris. Another Ana coming to America. Good decision to go to the interview. Aren't you glad you spent the money and took time off to be there. No matter what inconvenience it took, it paid off. Whew! Getting your fiance's visa--PRICELESS.

Have a great wedding and start looking over the AOS stuff. LOL. Just when you thought you were done, there's more paperwork looming just ahead.

Congrats Chris and Ana!!!

Hows everyone doing? I can't believe how time is flying. Printed off a ton of AOS stuff yesterday so that I can get everything sorted before the big day. I just want to get it all in the mail as soon as I have that certificate. Everything is on plan for the wedding. I had my first wedding nightmare yesterday. Wasn't too bad. . . everyone forgot it was my wedding day and no one was ready. Alan's son hadn't been picked up and my parents were no where to be seen. Woohoo My parents will be here this time next week. YEY. I can't wait to see them. My best friends are coming the week after that and then it wedding time!!

I hoe everyone is awesome.

Love you all lots xxx

WELCOME ANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad your trip was ok, now just get some rest and forget about paperwork for a few days :D

You deserve it!

Bex...i couldn't envy you more for having your parents at the wedding. But i am soooo happy for you! My parents would still need to apply for a visa to come here and there is a risk they get denied so i do not want to put them through that. Hopefully my country will be on a visa waiver program soon and they would come and visit without to much trouble.

Anyhow we decided to have a wedding in Romania too, probably next May. I couldn't live with the idea that my mom didn't see me wearing a white wedding dress.

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

Good morning March friends!

I've got more good news to add to the thread... we're on our way to NZ!!! After three weeks stuck at NVC they finally pushed us through last night. We're somewhere between ohio and lax right now. We are once again walking around with silly grins on our faces! Since the Embassy has had Russell's p/3 and medical for weeks we're hoping we can get a super speedy interview. :)

Ana, you got a good link from Nich. No big drama about getting your marriage license in MA. You just need proof of age and name... birth certificate, passport, etc. There is a 3 day wait (inc holidays and weekends but not the day you apply) and it's valid for 60 days. Easy peasy. :)

Bex, so happy you get to see your folks soon. :)

congratulations to the rest of you moving forward.
