Just losing hope... I have started to think they don't want me because I am too old, or whatever reason they might have.

and i can assure you they don't have anything against your age! there are people older than that...USCIS doesn't care...and you should care even less... Love is love at any age...end of story!

Hmmmm....wonder who she's talking about??? Moi??

I know how you feel Highway Star. People seem to get most stressed when approval is closest because your hopes are so high that it will be any day. I had to quit checking USCIS for 3 weeks because it was frustrating me so much to see no change. Then for some reason I checked again and had a touch and then approval.

Here's people around you by NOA1 date. You haven't been left behind. Your timeline says July 3-July 10. Save the worry at least until July 10.

Look at that list ... your right on target for your approval. Sadly as Kim has pointed out its a big holiday week so they may be running thin in the office but that just means they will all be coming back after a nice refreshing break and kicking out some double figures.

Thanx for your support Kim, its coming in waves at the moment. I just wish I could go to sleep and wake up when its all over. Having you guys to tell my tales to really helps, thank you everyone.

or be creative and use something else. Take a bubble bath
i read this post as if you were suggesting I take a bath tub with me to the boot sale. Oh its been a long day! Lol.

Grrr one of the girls in the office just got a MASSIVE bouquet of flowers and a teddy bear from her boyfriend ... because she is feeling poorly. Urgh not quite as poorly as I am feeling with all this mushy love in the air. Lol I'm such an awfull, jealous person. The karma fairy is going to bite me on the bum later.

I see all the March Filers that have their NOA2 or better and I start to wonder if something is wrong with my application. When I check the CIS website it says pending……….

Is there any way to find out if a NOA2 was sent and didn’t make it to me?

Hi Tony

If NOA2 was sent it would be 99.9% likely your online account would be updated around the same time however sometimes people don't get one or the other right away for some reason. If it would make you feel better about it you can call USCIS Customer Services and they will tell you the status of your application over the phone. You might want to take this opportunity to ask them why its taking a little longer although the answer you get can be taken with a pinch of salt most of the time.

Good Luck

Couldnt get a real person online... I didnt want to act as though I had an address change just to get a warm body on the phone so I guess I am stuck. The phone status only indicated the "I-797 had been sent" so I take it that the NOA2 has a different form number?

I-797 is BOTH noa1 & noa2.. (to us here on VJ... uscis does not use these terms)

Have you used your EAC # to login and track your petition on the USCIS website?

I have tracked it online but all it says is pending and last touch 4 - 28. The automated tracking system talks about the I 797 [no mention of a C] I finally bit the bullet and called thru the change of address section - [my fiancees phone number changed] I was told we could get any thing changed at thios point until NOA2 when they sent the paperwork to Manila. She also told me I still had 2 months before they would get to applications with my date [what a crock!]

I did see another post from a couple who went thru the same kind of thing and they mentioned a service request. I didnt find anything on teh website so so I email teh site admin asking - How do I find out how to submit a service request? Also the email I have from when I registered indicates the ability to "contact us via the feedback link from our website". Is that the same as this address?

We will see what the response is......

Hmmm its some kind of special holiday today for all the USCs right? :D I'll still always prefer the 5th November for a good old fashioned fireworks display. Nothing like a bit of treason to get us Brits partying. Does anyone have any plans? I can't wait till next year, I'm going to make Alan take me to see his family up North where they have big street parades and ... stuff! I don't really know what they have but him and his family always talk about it being really over the top so I want in.

This time next week I will be on the tube on the way to the Embassy. Hmmm just what every applicant wants before their interview, a rush hour tube journey, can't wait! Were getting on pretty close to the start of the line though so I might be able to find a little space to squeeze in. Ohhhhh!!! This time next week Alina you will have passed your interview!! Oh this is exciting. . . :) :) :)

Hope everyones well today.

Hmmm its some kind of special holiday today for all the USCs right? :D Does anyone have any plans?

Yes it is...namely independence from you Brits. Woohoo. And yes I have plans. I'm driving to Houston to pick up my favorite Brit, then later in the evening... :star:FIREWORKS :star: (That would be the ones in the park with the symphony and community chorus. Luckily it's a short walk so no need to fight traffic.)

:star: Happy Fourth of July everybody :star::dance:

Next year you can all be here for fireworks and flag waving.
