hey we have a borderline march/april filer in our thread that was touched today after nothing since being touched on 4/24 so perhaps that's a good sign yours is coming? All I can think is they scanned you in and put you back in the box way back when... and now they're going through that working the other way! I know, i'm a nut job! Boy, I hope so!! What a way to start the weekend! ;)

Dutti, congratualations on your interview date! I think this process can try the most patient of us!

Aleena, big hugs sweetie. You're allowed to be a little emotional so try to take good care of you and surround yourself with happy things.... a nice walk, pretty view of sunset, a good book, oooo a bubble bath! ;) Hope your spirits pick up soon. :)

Aleena lovely I'm sorry that your not feeling so great recently. I'm having a really hard time at the moment too. you definitely not on your own, this process is soul destroying. It will be 6 months on Tuesday since Alan and I were together and everything is getting way to much for me to deal with on my own. I just want a cuddle. I have been super emotional and I'm sure Alan is getting sick to the teeth of me. I have spent most of my afternoon today on expedia looking at plane tickets. I desperately want to tell him to come to me but the cheapest I found was $1350(!!!) I wish I could get a grip and see myself through this last little stretch. We had a bit of a fall out last weekend because he doesn't think I want to move ... what does WANT have to do with it. I'M DOING IT!! I think that should be enough right now. I'm giving up everything I have ever known and loved for us. That means that I love him and want to be with him more than EVERYTHING else in my life put together. I'm devastated about leaving my friends and family and if it wasn't for Alan I wouldn't be considering it at this point in my life.

If you are a USC then please take care of your partner. They are feeling everything that you are about being apart but they are also preparing themselves for a life time of separation from everyone they are leaving behind. I know how much it has hurt to be away from Alan - the prospect of being away from my friends and family is even more upsetting because I have had enough of missing people for a lifetime. Alan is struggling with my lack of excitement about moving and whilst I know it must be hard for him too, I'm really struggling to muster the energy with everything else thats going on to do a happy dance every time we talk. I have so much respect for everyone seriously going through this process especially the foreign nationals.

Ok thats my rant/ramble over. Sorry. Aleena you are so much stronger than you are giving yourself credit for, considering everything you are going through I think you are incredibly strong and fully entitled to have bad days, weeks, months if you need to lovely. I hope that everyone is well. I'm glad I have you guys to come and talk to. xxx

Just remember we're all in the same boat here and that in the end we should consider ourselves unbelievably

lucky, having found somebody who really loves us..

Hang in there girl! It will all be worth it!

awwww girls :( I'm sorry you're so down. The world is a big place but not so big we didn't fall in love with someone from across the pond, eh? ;) Everything you know and love at 'home' is always just a plane ride away.

Wish I could dance on a table or two for you. :P

Do be sure to be kind to yourselves right now.

Yaaaaaay!!!!!

Congratulations BEX!!!!

Calls for a celebration... I promise i will have a drink or two for you today :D

I am feeling better today also... I am doing my best to concentrate on the big picture...which is me an Lee together forever...and not stumble over little things like...getting frustrated with the whole process because nobody around me understands what's going on and why i have to wait this long and why i quit my job...or because my family and close friends won't be there on our big day...

I knew this was going to happen...i knew i would get very stresses towards the end of the process and upset the people that care about me and that i care about. Yesterday i was starting to feel bad about making everything about myself and not directing my energy towards positive things...like spending as much time with my family. Lee told me..."how do you think they feel...you are leaving soon and they will miss you..and you will miss them as well so make the best of your time". Now i feel bad about the whole thing... i will try to be stronger..and just let things follow their own way.

Lee's health problem makes it even harder because i want to be with him more than ever and i can't afford to whine when i know he is having a hard time.. But hopefully he will get well soon... It is not something extremely serious but it is serious enough that it affects all his activities... and especially work... Plus i can see it is wearing him out...not sleeping enough ...being tired all the time...not eating right... He needs someone to look after him :) and that person is me :)

ok...going back to my book now and i won't forget about the drink i promissed BEX later ;)

The only thing hot here is the climate, unfortunately... We're in the throes of a nasty heatwave here in Rome, and I don't have AC at home (I do at work though, which makes things better during the week). I have a very low tolerance for hot weather, especially of the humid variety, which makes it hard for me to breathe properly. And yes, I suppose I'm sad too... NOA2 shouldn't be long now, but the wait has become even more unbearable than before. It was exactly three months ago that we filed, and sometimes it feels like it's never going to happen.

Well it's pretty much hot and humid here most of the time it seems, however everything is air conditioned. But darn it's difficult to walk from your car into Walmart across that asphalt parking lot. (Doesn't that sound so terribly American?)

The wait reminds me of waiting for Christmas. (When you're a kid and not when you're having to shop!) Three months can normally just whiz by and you don't know where the time went. But because we have an end in sight, it seems ever so s-l-o-w, doesn't it?

Hello ladies!

just getting ready to have a cook out witth my familly :)

finally a decent day...not too hot since it rained a lot yesterday so just perfect for a walk or do something outside :)

sorry you guys have temperature related issues...lol

i hate cold weather....we have pretty long winters here and very hot summers sometimes...

Nich...i must say my biggest problem in America was the air conditioning....OH MY GOD!!!!!

every time i went shoping i would take a sweatshirt with me because i would get soooo cold....

And me and Lee's greatest disagreement is related to the same issue...lol... He is sooooo American when it comes to AC...and i am soooo NOT :)) I mean...it is okay to have it...especially in the summer but not at the extent the people across the pond are using it...lol

and i am convinced it had a negative influence on my baby's health condition...making his sinuses worse...

Oh....and there is another thing i would never get used to.... YOU AMERICAN PEOPLE EAT ICE!!!!!!!!!!!

What is up with that?????????????? lol Lee can't have a drink if there is not at least half ice in it....and then when he finishes the drink he eats a couple ice cubes...just to finish the deal.... How weird is that????????

Well maybe i souldn't b***h that much since i have my owh faults.... I DRINK BLOOD...Bruuuuhahaaaaaaaaa :girlwerewolf2xn:

hope everybody has a nice and quiet Sunday :)
