I knew I wasn't crazy when I thought I made two profiles.

:star:

Well I myself was crazy and had two. I made a timeline, then when I went back to it, there was nothing filled in. Strange, I guess I didn't save it. So since there wasn't much to put in, I just filled it in again and made sure I saved it properly that time. I figured out later that I used two email addresses. duh

I was a lost soul when I first started on this website. And if you posted anything, some smart@$$ would write back things that were Greek to me like, "File the 123 with the XYZ at the ABC and check the guides" and I thought "huh? what? where would I find that? what's a signature?" and "what the heck are these GIANT dancing people that say Meez??!!" There was so much visual stimulation that I couldn't see simple words like Guides.

It takes awhile to learn the lingo and figure out all the wonderful information available, but it has be an invaluable tool for me.

Thanks VJ [applause here] :D

Hi Guys

I think everything went ok yesterday. Will hope not to hear from them ever again ... that means I am all good to go. They were lovely though and anyone having the medical at Knightsbridge should not worry about a bean. I had to have an MMR jab because I was born at a time when the NHS were trying to save money and they only ever gave me Mumps and Rubella boosters. It gave me a little reaction and a temp but my body is fighting it hard today. I had the first of my HPV vacs too, I'm actually not 100% against it now I've had someone sit down and explain it to me. They cost a lot but they also protect against a lot of nasties. A must for any girls/women who are not sexually active yet and even for those who are it still has a lot of benefits. I can see why the US would want us to have them. Well one down, one to go.

Alina I want you on my list so bad. I'm sure it wont be long now. I can't remember my dream from Tuesday night but I'm sure it wasn't good. I have a phobia of sitting on public transport and someone setting my hair on fire. I was probably dreaming about that, luckily I managed to get to London and back with my hair un-singed.

I hope everyone else is well. I’m so sleepy today. Got another round of appointments at the hospital later to discuss how I’m going to manage the change/move and my diabetes. Should be fun! Not. (Lol I just thought about Borat learning ‘NOT’ jokes and my giggle echoed around the office.)

I am glad your medical went well BEX! ;) And i am glad that nobody set your hair on fire...:)) you are too funny :))

I was having doubts about the HPV vaccine myself...especially that i am almost 26... But i will just do whatever i have to do. By the way...how much did it cost? you're going to have the other 2 shots in the US, right?

JESSICA.....you are definitely very very close! ;) No worries...

ANA...better wax those legs girl...lol..

Still no packet 3 yet...it's 3 weeks today since NOA2... Embassy only got papers this week... :(

I am in a continuous stress ... as i am trying to figure out how to plan everything and be with my baby as soon as possible. He is not doing very well health wise...and i can't do anything about it...just sit here and wait...

The HPV cost a whopping £120! My local dr couldn't order it for me and private clincs around home were charging more so I opted to have it done. You can have all three in the US and its cheaper but I was feeling co-operative! I thought it was totally pointless for any one who was already sexually active but even if you are it can still protect you against a lot of stuff. All depends what you have already come into contact with (the fewer partners you have had the better.) So if I haven't come into contact with the virus that causes cervical cancer yet there is a 95% chance the vaccine will protect me. I like those odds. Plus once I have had the vaccine my body can start working with it and kicking up my immune system. I have always seen my immune system as being incredibly important as it’s what is going to help protect my little ones eventually. The nurse said she would like to see HPV given to as many people as possible and I can see her point. Shame the Gov here are too busy protecting their comfortable lifestyles rather than making important vaccines available to everyone. Lol rant over. I have to have my next shot in two months so I will look for a clinic near Alan to get that done. The last one is 6 months after the 2nd. The nurse warned me repeatedly that it was going to make my arm very sore but luckily other than the initial “scratch” I haven’t had any trouble. Yey. She was so adamant it was going to kill me I want to call her up today and tell her I’m fine. :)

Sorry to hear Lee isn't very well hun, things will start speeding up soon. If they have our docs they will want to clear you out not keep your file hanging around :) How do you go about booking the medical? Will you have to travel a long way or can you do it ASAP?

I have been checking everyday for the good news so hang in there Jessica.

Very soon......

Jessica- Do you think your approval could take more time because you don't live in the US? They might have to super-investigate you to figure out why you're in Thailand and search more databases. I hope not.

Bex- ...someone setting your hair on fire?? Where did that phobia come from? You're so funny. Glad it went well for you.

I've still got high hopes for a few more approvals trickling in through the weekend. Some people may not get around to checking and updating. The first of the week was such a rush and now it's getting boring. Ho-hum.

No, you won't be left till last, because there will be our petition to keep you company.... Our timelines are very similar, but since 6/17 there were no touches, and I'm starting to get worried. Let's just hope we won't get an RFE, after wasting two months because it took USCIS that long to realise that the address on the petition was different from that on the check.

Hiya Bex , when i enquired about the HPV vaccination for my 10 year old - they told me there rolling it out here in September for school kids but no doubt that will take a while to do.

Evening all - hope everyone is ok :D am sending lots of good vibes to those waiting on approvals as i need people to panic with :D

also am now/still miffed at having to go all the way back to london to the medical place as they didnt take enough blood - bleh. Am starting to think its a conspiracy to make me so broke that i cant afford to move, extra trips to london, air prices going up and quote to take my dog was nearly £900 nearly fell of my chair - its a good job i love her.

well better get on with sorting the ####### hmm i mean stuff in my house so I can decide what to take and what to leave - guess will be leaving a lot of it as shipping cost are huge too - ok winge over feel better now :D

check out my time line and dont forget to update yours too :D

Funny you should mention that Jessica, because thats my last touch as well and nothing since then either. Granted that could have been them moving our files from place to place, but who knows.

So, it seems as though we still have a small band of us in the waiting room with the anxious April filers begging to get in.

I was having a very depressing morning... Don't know why i feel like i am sumbling at the end of the road...

And later i got my packet 3...and that cheered me up a little :)

Haven't got the forms for the medical. Is the medical center supposed to provide them?

I will take my time and fill out the forms this weekend and then mail it back on monday :)

I feel tired and not really sociable these days...and i know i will be sorry later for beating myself up for nothing and not enjoying my time at home... Although i know perfectly well what is the best way...i just can't seem to be able to do it...

I hate myself for not being stronger sometimes... I was such a cry baby today...

Am i the only nut person here? lol... Or maybe i am just having a bad day and tomorrow everything will be good again...

And if you'd ask we what is wrong...i won't be able to give an answer... At least not a crear one... Maybe the whole waiting and the distance and everything gathered up and i am losing focus... :(

i will try to have a good night sleep and be postitive tomorrow morning :)

Wishing you all a nice weekend :)
