Its both comforting and depressing getting so close to my "assumed" adjudication window of dates :(

jzoom6- I totally agree... It's depressing because everyday when I check the dates they keep moving out by a day or so, so it feels like you're never really getting any closer. It always seems like "next week" it will come, but now it's already the end of June. :crying:

Good Morning All ...

I just wanted to extend heart felt thanks to everyone who has posted here. My fiance and I will be filing sometime in late September, early October and it has been so helpful to read everyone's posts. It has been riveting reading at times. While reading the posts, I laughed .. I cried .. but most of all I thought - Oh heck, that's going to be us in 3 months time!!! Can't wait ..:dance::dance:

I think I have a pretty good idea of what we will go through now  I am sure that I have gained something from everyone's experiences - I know that I will certainly be able to deal with the whole procedure better, because I've been watching all you lovely people going through it already! Sometimes it's the fear of the unknown that's the scariest part ... and knowing now what may or may not happen really helps - thanks!!

To all who have received their NA02 - congrats!! And to all those still waiting ... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you - hope it comes through soon ...

Thanks again

Hi, good morning (even though my morning is past lunch for many of you)

Yesterday we finally got some rain. I think that was 42 days without a drop. You would think we live in the desert or something. There's been rain around, but I must have a giant invisible umbrella over my neighborhood. Normally I wouldn't care, but since I got so ambitious being the gardener this year and planted flowers, I just have to make sure they get a little drink of water if there's no rain. It's a bad summer so far to be the flower lady. :((F)

Oh, and there's something else I wanted to tell you about. I called the Customs and Border Protection people yesterday because there was another thread about can or can't you visit the US when you have a K1 filed. I decided I wanted to see if I could ask them directly. Here's the post if you want to read about that. It applies to Visa Waiver countries. My post about the phone call.

Jessica and Danielle...so close and so far huh? It's like that carrot is being dangled right before your eyes but it keeps moving back. It's so disappointing to keep checking USCIS and no changes to your case.

Danielle- Are you waiting for the mail delivery of the NOA2? Didn't you sign up for the USCIS website thing and email notification? It will make your suffering days shorter than waiting on the postal service.

I am hoping that the process will leave the NVC soon to get there on time for them to schedule my interview to august. Do you know if there is anyway to get to know if the pack is at the NVC already? Should I ask Jeff to call them??

That's the fastest way to find out if you're obsessed like Bex and me. 603-334-0700, 1 for English, 5 to talk to a person.

Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM (EST). He tells them the EACxxxxxx number of your case and they probably ask your name and date of birth. Tell him to be sure and ask for the new case number that will start with RDJ. (Rio in lovely Brazil)

Hi, thanks for coming. This is a new friend I found on another website and told her VJ is the best immigration website.

Well, as usual hang in there and good luck to everybody.

Hi Jessica And Lute

I know how you feel.

Hang in there. We have our first March 31 approval.

I have been watching Nutt and John's timeline. Their NOA1 was March 7 and NOA2 June 11 with a rfe.

We are so close!!

It wont be much longer now guys, hang in there. I know you must be thinking "humph, thats easy for her to say" but we really are moving onto the end of the month filers now. Its a process of elimination. I'm going to be mustering every good vibe I have to send to VSC this weekend. Lets hope we get a Sunday blitz!!

Ana call NVC they are so lovely, everyone after USCIS stage are so helpful. At the lost package stage of our journey we called UCSIS and the people there were so rude to both Alan and I on numerous occasions. Since getting NOA2 the NVC, DoS and the Embassy have all been brilliant - "have a good day" this and "anything more I can help you with?" that! Finally I am getting my $455 worth of courtesy.

Nic that POE info is really helpful, we should ask Ewok about possibly putting it somewhere safe. Could someone add it to the VJwiki maybe?

Hi Mrs sdp. Welcome to VJ. I couldn't have gotten through this process without VJ, especially not without all the wonderful people here on this thread. Not just March filers but everyone that rallies around to offer support, experience, advice and well needed giggles! When I started this journey I was angry and upset, I remember saying something like "I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy" but you know what in a twisted little way I'm glad I've had to wait and I'm glad that I've had questions and that it hasn't all been straight forward. I've had some great times with the people I've met so far and formed some lovely little friendships that will hopefully last long after this process has finished. It's not bad all of the time if you don't want it to be. Good luck with your journey, it's definitely going to be character building.

I'm having a bed rest weekend. I've been on antibiotics this week but this infection is kicking my butt! I have my medical on Wednesday :( so I'm hoping to have shifted this fever by then.

I hope everyone is well.

Good morning March!

Yes Ana...the booty is so you can KMA for giving me slack about visiting you folks! I've been waiting around for years just to able to file so I figure I can go anywhere I want! I think you will just have to deal with it young lady! :P hehe

Bex...feel better love. hug9.gif

It seems they are pushing through March. I know it's so hard watching the dates change. I try not to pay too much attention to that just because I know folks are joining and dropping out all over. Just the fact that they're moving through March keeps me going. Let's hope all those adjuticators are working the weekend and that we find the rest of you March'ers approved on Monday! Too much to ask for ya think?

Ana, must be that spicy Brazillian blood! Us Italians have that as well! You'll fit right into New England!

Sal, after all these years and the struggle to get here, I think i've had the patience of a saint...Russell even moreso, earlier on anyway! ;) I know it's coming and most of the time I am very patient but you know how it goes when you can almost taste it..... knowing it's only around the corner.... oh it's such a tease!

It will be 10 weeks sent in a couple of days. When we started on VJ it was taking 6 months and when we filed some of you were seeing approvals in just a month. It's a rollercoaster ride for sure! I'm so glad I have you all along for the ride!

Pretty quiet here today... :)

just wanted to say good night before i went to bed...and to wish everybody a very very lucky week :)

it was a pool and sun weekend for me...and now i am having trouble laying down on either side of my body...lol

but i am sure it will be better tomorrow... Too bad i don't have my baby here to lotion my back...:(

Bex...i hope you are feeling better and good luck with the medical :)

I am only going to have mine the day before my interview so i won't have to make two trips to Bucharest (4 hours on the train...) although i would prefer to know it is out of the way... But the final result is what matters so i guess i can take it... ;)

Night everyone!

I tend to stay focused on work, helps pass the time. I check the mail in hope of a notice, but I don't go running to get it either. I suppose the less I get my hopes up, the more surprised I will be once it arrives. I don't rely on the e-mail/online case status site due to some people saying various things such as they got NOA2 and their online status months later still shows Case received and pending.

Good luck to those still left and the upcoming filers in April. Congrats to the March approvals!

jzoom, I know it's happened a lot at CSC but I haven't heard of any VSC filers who did not receive online notification and were surprised in snail mail, have you?

Looks like your approval is right around the corner! Sending happy thoughts for you and yours this week!
