Hi Mommy2B. So glad you posted. That's funny because on Tuesday I was looking over my list and realized I had never put you in the list. I had you in the spreadsheet I keep, but when things get updated or new people added, I have to go manually type them in the list I put here in the thread. I had forgotten to do that whenever you added your timeline.

Here's why your time gets pushed back. If there's say 100 people in a list, then over time 25 more discover the list (timeline) and add their names, it could affect your place on the list so to speak. If they all had dates earlier than you, it might push you back a little. I'm sure there is a great statistical explanation of this, but I think my concept will give you an idea of how that could happen, especially on Igor's list. Also as people post actual NOA2 dates, it gives new data to base the predictions on and maybe as the average time from NOA1 to NOA2 gets longer then the predictions add on time to yours based on how long it took others.

Come back and post sometime. Tell us about the baby...boy or girl? Names picked out? Your name is already on my list for next Monday and who knows, it could have a NOA2 date by it on Monday. Very possible. Best of luck to you.

Thanks Nich-Nick, your explanation makes sense. I am hopeful too that by next week I'll know.. but who really knows with crazy VSC.

As for my baby, I am having a girl and don't have names picked out yet, there are just too many choices! Thanks for asking.

Hi Mommy. Welcome to the March waiting room. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope that everything is going well.

Hows everyone else doing today? I miss Erin! OH ERIN LOVELY COME BACK!!!!!!!

I don't remember if I told you guys but when I got P3 I noticed they had spelt my name wrong! I just included the correction in my cover letter and asked them to sort it out when I mailed P3 back. All they have done is mixed the order of the letters... some one typing too quick, that or fat fingers! Easy right? Well apparently not because I got P4 this morning and ITS STILL WRONG!!! I had to call the embassy at £1.20 a minute (!!) and get the email code so I could ask them nicely to change it again. I didn't come through all this stress to have a CO interview me in a bad mood and be denied because my name is different on their system to on all my identification. I know its silly and they probably wouldn't even notice but I have gone to the effort to get all of this right, I don't need someone else causing me mistakes ... thats why I didn't involve a lawyer. OK rant over!

Lots of Love xxx

evening all - guess i have that friday feeling as no work now till wednesday w00t w00t

welcome to the waiting/panic room mommy2b :D

Bex - hope they sort it - i am sure they will - i wouldn't worry over a typo and at interview you can show them a copy of your letter to them telling that someone slipped on the keyboard when inputting the data.

Me and my daughter are off for our medicals tomorrow so that should be fun (not) was planning on doing some shopping then it dawned on me - whats the point - will be more stuff to pack/ship lol as if i don't have enough already, could prolly fill a large suitcase just with shoes and boots - so hope it goes well and i dont forget anything anything and dont miss train

Good vibes to everyone waiting guess i need to poke VSC so you can all join me in my current OMG OMG OMG state of panic.

Ah nearly forgot took my german shepherd for her first Jab today - shes got 1 jab a week booked for the next 3 weeks - hope she still loves me at the end of it - poor thing

Ps hope everyone has a great weekend as wont be back till wednesday

check out my time line and dont forget to update yours too :D

Good morning March. :)

I think April has been patient enough and we would really appreciate you all moving out of the waiting room now. It's getting a little crowded in here!

Hi Ana,

Do you have everything to send to the embassy? I read you don't have to wait for a packet 3 in Brazil.

TIME SAVER TIP: If the beneficiary knows the
NVC
case number, they don't have to wait for the consulate to mail packet 3 to them to send back the forms and documents asked for. They can download the forms, fill them out, have the other documents needed and mail them to the consulate - provided that the beneficiary's gathered the documents asked for in the instructions, such as the federal and state police certificate -; the letter sent out to the consulate should make reference to the
NVC
case number (starting with RDJ).

Nich I just saw your post talking about brazil not having pack 3, I saw that I have most of the forms filled out just not the medical exam because that I will have to do in Rio de Janeiro but we have the pack 4 they send to us telling what docs they will need ( which I already know). Here they dont want us to mail anything the just want us to bring it to the inteview. Probably because they are too freakin busy with all the visas here in Brazil. =/

I am hoping that the process will leave the NVC soon to get there on time for them to schedule my interview to august. Do you know if there is anyway to get to know if the pack is at the NVC already? Should I ask Jeff to call them??
