:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: I'm dancing the Forro'

OH ANA. Congratulations. I went out with a friend just after I posted earlier. Decided to check Igor stats again just now and saw 1 VSC and couldn't wait to click on the list and see who it was. I'm so excited for you. I scared the cat when I screamed.

It feels so good doesn't it? I couldn't tell from your post..hahahaha :rofl:

So now you have to figure out when it gets to NVC (and find out your case number) and leaves NVC and gets to to Rio. There's a lot of new things that happen faster than the long wait for NOA2.

Ok, everybody else. Let's hope this is a good sign for a busy week of VJ friends getting approved.

I'm going to dance the Forro again. :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

where are those codes from? what website??

Looks like he's hacking into the USCIS online tracking of your individual case numbers by entering a sequence of numbers. Well, not hacking in exactly, because anybody could do it, but that's kinda getting into peoples privacy areas. The timelines here are voluntary reporting, but I wonder if you should be doing that? That's created by the government for people to check their own cases as a convenience. Just my opinion. :angry:

It's not going to get us approved any faster. We file....we wait....we celebrate

I see your point, but at the same time the information that he's accessing gives out ZERO personal details for each case, so it's more like just looking at statistics of the work load at USCIS. To be honest, it is a bit helpful, although quite shocking, to know that they can get over 2,000 new cases on an average day (assuming that was an average day!).... It makes you realize what a tiny, tiny percentage of the filers are reporting here on VJ!!

Anyway, back to the waiting game... :unsure:

Oh CONGRATULATIONS Ana! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

Your post has left a great big smile on my face! I love how happy I get for everyone else when they progress with their journeys. I am booking my medical today for next week, I finally got a letter from my GP about my diabetes so hopefully it will be good enough to get me through. I was talking to Alan's mom last night on the phone and it felt so strange knowing that possibly in 6 short weeks I will be sitting where she was calling my mom here in England. I'm moving onto the emotional stage now, its starting to get realistically close.

I hope everyone is well today! :)

Lots of Love xxx

Hey Ana. Girl your bouncing off the walls!! I love it.

I wouldn't have thought your case will be on the way to NVC just yet but then stranger things have happened. Pretty much everyone gets the day after touch, I think that might be the sending it down to the mail room to be discharged to NVC touch.

My mom is getting very upset now :( infact everyone is. Even the people here at work have been quiet since I told them about my interview date. Its getting very real. Its hard to see everyone hurting and even harder to accept that my actions have caused it. I keep telling myself that they only hurt because they care and they only care because I'm not a bad person and would never have done anything to upset them intentionally. I'm not used to putting myself first, it doesn't happen very often and I'm having a hard time dealing with it. The only way it is going to get better is with time I think. We'll all move forward and adapt, the people here will find a new person to fetch their lunch and my mom will just nag my other family members more :)

I hate this process, everytime you get past "the hardest part" another issue pops up. I want a rest!!!

Hope everyone is well

Could be. Look again tomorrow. My last touch was the day it went to NVC. My email was two days after the actual approval date. Does yours say approved on 6-17-2008 or did it have an earlier date? Two days after my email was the date it left Vermont for NVC, but that was four days after approval. :thumbs:

Aleena--Happy Anniversary today :star:

You can have Lee call the NVC and find out when the package left. They will also tell him the new case number. The phone line is open until late at night.

603-334-0700 press 1 for English, then 5 to talk to a person.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM (EST). Best time to call is 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM to 12:00 PM.

The automated response thing is not for K1 cases because they aren't entered into that system. They just pass through there briefly.

Edit: I also forgot to say that I saw a report from the Dept of State saying in fiscal year 2007 that 51,935 K visas were approved. That averages 1000 a week getting all the way to final approval. Lots of cases just in that category.

Hey there!

i only got one more touch next day after aproval date....hm...

if they sent it out to NVC that day why doesn the embassy still not have our file...

i guess maybe they just send it to the mail room and it goes out whenever...

Anyhow... last night Lee told me about a letter he got from DOS i think...and they were saying something about receiving and forwarding the case to the embassy... Do they usually send out those kind of letters??? I was pretty surprised.

He said he would read it to me today and i will figure out what it actually is...

So it is "moms getting emotional day", huh?

my mom had her good and bad days... But she is really happy i took time off to come and stay at home...

It is really weird because i am actually used to being away from home... Left 7 years ago to college and only visited once in a while...then i went to America for 14 months...

But i am enjoying it and so does my family :)

And they know they will se me again soon... I plan to come back home and visit as much as i can... Don't know what that means acutally...lol...

But it's time we all leave our nests and find our own way :)
