Hello all,

I was having a slow day, so called the London Embassy visa hotline to ask about the Packet 3 which I thought would be delivered by now. (Did I sound casually obsessed like Bex?) The lady said it has not been sent out yet. I'm not so sure she's not just looking at the same old screen that previous agencies have pulled up. I asked when it arrived and she said May 8. Well that's when it left NVC, so there doesn't seem to be any new update like it being scanned upon arrival in London (if they do that.) It got there May 12 according to DHL tracking. Ho-hum...I hope it didn't fall behind somebody's desk.

Just saw that Bex's petition was delivered to the London Embassy today. She will probably get her Packet 3 before us. I may have to kill her if that happens. hahahaha Actually, we have to stall just a little anyway, so I'm good as long as they don't lose it.

Aleena--You want to be green like Kermit the Frog?? VIBES~~~~

I was just reading down the page and was going to make the same comment as Ana, my NOA1 date is March 31 and I'm not on the list either!! We're also anxiously awaiting NOA2s just like the rest of you!

I've kept up on this thread pretty well even though I've been a silent reader... But thought it was time to chime in with the rest of you cuz I'm starting to get anxious!!! I know, I know, I haven't even reached the 2 month mark... but it should be coming SOON, right?!?! It's just so hard to make plans for a couple of months down the road, including for a wedding, when we just don't know when all this stuff is gonna get processed. :( I think they just like to make our lives miserable...

Hey guys!

3 DOWN 1 TO GO!! Woo and our application was delivered to the Embassy! I've just come home and started tearing out clothes from the wardrobe as I don't actually have a pirate costume for tomorrow! I'm sure I have something ... just about everything I own could constitute as clown maybe I should get them to change the theme.

Nic I've been ready that some people are waiting 3-4 months for their P3 so I'm not going to get my homes up just yet. Fingers crossed yours is on its way next week though. I'm using all my vibes on Aleena but if I find any to spare I'll send them to the Embassy for you!

NOA1 March 31 also

Thanks

Hi everybody!

Guess I'm in the same pile then....March 31st NOA1

Hope everybody is still able to keep their sanity with all this waiting going on!

I must admit, I was never really good at waiting and getting pretty anxious too, although of course there's still a lot

of people ahead of me.

Good luck to everybody and here's to speedy approvals! :star:

Nothing like a mistake to bring the lurkers out of the woodwork LOL

Welcome end of the month filers. Glad you all chimed in. I guess my search of the timelines from March 1-March 31 excluded March 31.

Or maybe I didn't do the rhyme properly ...Thirty days hath September...April, June, and November....

I put you in my spreadsheet. Of course when I go back home to the USA on Sunday, I'll have to get back to my original spreadsheet. Just made a quick new one while visitin the UK. And what's with those dates on UK computers? I have to enter 31/3/08 to get Excel to take it as 3/31/08.

Hi Nick,

Thank you for compiling this list for the March filers. Good thoughts to everyone!

QUICK UPDATE:

Earlier this week I checked into my petition status and at least they haven't issued an RFE that somehow got lost in the mail (thus I never received it). The lady on the phone, who was actually quite helpful, told me that sometimes background checks take longer on some folk than others. "Hmmmm...." thought I. I lead the most vanilla, "quiet" life that can be imagined, just shy of the prototypical, pallid divinity student, so I couldn't imagine what they might be investigating. The only conclusion I was left with was that it had to be the IMBRA stuff. I filed a K-1 back in 2004. In August it'll be 4 years. That was my only other filing, so I didn't request a waiver. Maybe that's the culprit, dunno. In the end it doesn't matter a whole lot to me why, I, like the rest of you, would just prefer to see my file make it through "phase 1" of the process! ;)

Anyhoo, good Thursday, keep the faith and let's hope that the approvals start to come soon!

Best,

Jerry
