Good morning all,

I had a surprise fun day planned for me on Saturday...a day in London. Nick knows my all time favorite musical is Les Miserables so he had bought matinee tickets and booked the train. We arrived at Paddington station and walked the edge of Hyde Park to Marble Arch and then on to the US Embassy just to check it out. We had tea and cappuccino and just strolled about Oxford street before heading to Picadilly Circus on the tube. I enjoyed Les Mis as always. I think this is my 6th time to see it, but it's been four years since the last time. Then we had a nice dinner and wine. Later at another tea/coffee stop the girl at the counter asked where I was from. She said I had a nice accent. Nick told her "she doesn't have an accent, we do", making fun of what I usually say.

It was a cloudy, sometimes lightly raining day, but I had great fun in the city.

Steph you aren't going to have time to stop and wonder where your visa is or anything you are going to be so busy!

LOL Alans ex used to get on at him about the age difference - its only 4 freakin years! I was 19 tho when we first met and because I had teen in the number his ex feeling like she should get involved. I hastened to point out that she was pregnant at 19 with their child and what exactly did she think I wasn't capable of dealing with? Age does make more of a difference the younger you are. When I was 16 I moved in with my 21 year old boyfriend - try telling my parents age didn't matter then. I think once you reach your late 20's, age really does become just a number. Men have almost caught up with women in terms of maturity and everyones priorities begin to come in line. So it seems anyway, there will always be plenty of anomalies to keep us busy too.

Tuty I'm sorry everything is so tough with you and your ex. I'm sure the boys will be dying to move over and live with you when they are older. I have a feeling this is your turning point. Things are going to get better from now on :) you definitely deserve it.

Nick your Saturday sounds so lovely! Oh how I wish Alan could surprise me. Lol I wouldn't mind anyone surprising me in all honesty. I haven't seen Les Miserables, it is on my to do list with many others though. The last thing I saw was Carmen with my mummy. Alan and I went to see CATS on valentines day 2007 and it was so lovely to have a proper date. HAHA it sounds like the last date we had was Feb 07! Urgh it feels like it!

Well I am going to hardcore revise this afternoon and then spend all night panicking!!! Fingers crossed for all the remaining approvals this week - maybe a little too wishful but hope is hope.

*hugs*

Hey everyone!

hope you had a nice weekend :)

i spent my whole weekend with a very dear friend of mine that is going thru some difficult times with her bf..They have been together for 4 years and are a second away from breaking up...Makes me so sad... After all this time...And nothing anybody can do...

Still no change with our file...Nice to know March filers are halfway approved though..

Wish we were on the other half but oh well...it is what it is...

i enjoyed the kids talk you guys had... :)

we are probably going to get "busy" as soon as possible and i am so excited about it! Neither one of us had kids yet...I am 25 and Lee is not really in his young years... and he's so anxious about having a child... And i am too :)

don't know if i will be able to start working on my career and kids at the same time...but i know i want to give it a try :)

Nich...i am happy you had a good time in London...I will be there in less than 2 weeks! Soooo looking forward to it :

Well it's getting to be your time. You filed late in the month. Can't wait until we get to cheer with you. This could be the week. The March VSC filers approved this week averaged about 60 days. Vibes~~~~

i enjoyed the kids talk you guys had... :)

Well speaking of "kids", today is the birthday of both of mine. They aren't twins, just share a b'day. I'll be calling them later but its 3AM for them right now.

The story I tell is the oldest asked for a little brother or sister for her birthday, and she was so spoiled that we always gave her anything she wanted. :P

Actually, I was a teacher and if I had a baby in May, my six weeks of leave lumped together with the 3 month summer break gave me an extra long maternity leave. Also I thought it worked out well for the students because I didn't have to abandon them to adjust to a new teacher except for the last two weeks of school, at which point there's not much learning going on anyway. So May was somewhat planned, but the exact date was random.

Hi guys.

Hope your all well. Just got back from my first exam ... I'm 1/4 of the way there! It went ok, I'm not going to spend any time trying to guess how I did, just on to the next one! I got some great news from Saffyre when I got out though, she went for her interview in London this morning and passed with flying colours! I'm so pleased for her. :) :) :)

Hi Rebecca - welcome to the March waiting room. Not many of the march filers have had multiple touches. They went a bit crazy on Nic but I think she was just lucky. Good Luck. It can't be long now.

All of Alan's family have their birthdays in July so I would rather not, may have to take extensive measures to ensure we don't. Alan was saying yesterday how excited he is about starting a family with me, it was so lovely to hear. I've been getting anxious about medical insurance and bills recently- primarily how we are going to be able to pay them all. He's been so cute trying to calm me down and answer all my questions. I love him so much  lol

I hope everyone is well and had a lovely weekend. Back to studying for me

Lots of Love
