Hi there,

We sent our package on Feb 29...they got it in March....so I guess it will be nice finding people in our same timeline...we got the return receip from Vermont and it was signed by P. Novak.

We couldnt see if they cashed the money order yet because they gave us 11 numbers and in the website they only want 10 (western union) weird....we are still waiting for NOA1 everyday in the mail.

We're gonna be on approximately the same schedule! I sent our package on February 28th, they received it on March 3rd. For some inexplicable reason however the notice date is March 4th. Same person signed for my package as well. Small world. ;-) I sent in a personal check, so can't comment on the Western Union thing. As far as I could tell it made no difference (CC versus PC versus MO) and worrying about "mixups" with my bank seemed excessive, so I just wrote them out a check like I was paying for a big shopping spree at WalMart or something. Worked fine.

Anyway, good luck to y'all! Stay in touch!

Best,

Jerry

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I forgot to mention that they had a typo on my NOA1. The spelling of my beneficiary's last name was incorrect. The form stated to call them "immediately" if any of the information was incorrect, so I did just that. I spoke with a USCIS rep yesterday morning and got it straightened out. I hope anyway. ;-)

Was y'alls information correct?

Best,

Jerry

:star: Hi Everyone. :star:

We originally intended to file at the beginning of Feb but the USPS lost our package so we are now official March Filers. I didn't think a postal service could be as inefficient as the UK Post Office but the USPS have well and truly proved me wrong.

We got our NOA1 the same day as the replacement arrived at VSC (via UPS!) and the hard copy arrived in the mail box along with a separate envelope with our whole package returned to us on Monday!!!! Alan sent a check for $500 instead of $455 because he fails to hear the words that come out of my mouth and/or doesn't deem them important. Oh well, it is all sorted now and they have everything back in their hands so we are just waiting for the money to clear and for them to award us a speedy NOA2 with no more RFE's!

I hope everyone has a little more luck than we seem to be having at the moment. Oh well, we are just getting all the #######-ups out the way now! Honestly I was worried that my final year at university wasn't going to kill me quick enough, this extra stress is a welcome strain on my heart. Just what I need! :help:

Best wishes to you all. We'll all be there in no time :)
