Reminds me of my baby!

this song...ah! Do you know it ?

"Hey There Delilah" Plain White

Hey there Delilah

What's it like in New York City?

I'm a thousand miles away

But girl tonight you look so pretty

Yes you do

Time Square can't shine as bright as you

I swear it's true

Hey there Delilah

Don't you worry about the distance

I'm right there if you get lonely

Give this song another listen

Close your eyes

Listen to my voice it's my disguise

I'm by your side

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

> Oh it's what you do to me

What you do to me

Hey there Delilah

I know times are getting hard

But just believe me girl

Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar

We'll have it good

We'll have the life we knew we would

My word is good

Hey there Delilah

I've got so much left to say

If every simple song I wrote to you

Would take your breath away

I'd write it all

Even more in love with me you'd fall

We'd have it all

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

[these lyrics are found on http://www.songlyrics.com]

A thousand miles seems pretty far

But they've got planes and trains and cars

I'd walk to you if I had no other way

Our friends would all make fun of us

and we'll just laugh along because we know

That none of them have felt this way

Delilah I can promise you

That by the time we get through

The world will never ever be the same

And you're to blame

Hey there Delilah

You be good and don't you miss me

Two more years and you'll be done with school

And I'll be making history like I do

You know it's all because of you

We can do whatever we want to

Hey there Delilah here's to you

This ones for you

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

What you do to me.

Hello March filers~

Just wanted to say I enjoyed looking at the wedding dress pictures some of you girls posted. Very pretty.

Still waiting patiently here. BUT I did get a little anxious when I saw that the UK couple with the same exact dates as us already got their NOA2. I just had to check the USCIS website to look for an update. I've abstained from looking for two weeks. No changes to report.

Darn! Looks like Cambridge is a leg up on Oxford in the race. Maybe we're in the same box and they will pick up our file soon.

Keep posting your wedding plans. It's a change of pace from the sad, sad stories so many people have.

Morning March Filers.

WHERE ARE OUR NOA2's? Oh dear there are probably people in the January thread scoffing at our laughable attempts at patience. I'm normally so calm and collected but this whole process is making me crazy

I am having a great day today though so thought I would share. Today my very last piece of coursework EVER (until i start my MA) was handed in to my university. Whoop! Whoop! I'm so happy. Its been a really long four years and its finally all starting to come together.

Last week my car, phone and ipod broke all within 24hours of each other  not good. My car and phone are essentials so i got them fixed right away but the MP3 player is just a nice little luxury I can't really afford to replace right now. Alan had told me he'd sent me something in the mail and yesterday the postman brought me the bestest, newest, shiniest, ipod made in apple history!!! Yey. It does everything but clean my bathroom, it's awesome. He also sent me a travel adapter so that when I move to the US it will all still work (awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.)

Tuty that Plain White T's song is one of our favorites. On the topic of songs ... kinda lol ... that's another fun wedding game that needs to be played. If your having a mid/big wedding you need to have songs for all kinds of crazy things and EVERYONE needs a first dance song.

Hope everyones well. VSC if you are watching we would like our NOA2's this weekend please, I don't think thats unreasonable.

Awwww a beach wedding that sounds beautiful. I hope that some of your family will be able to make it, I'm sure there will be a ton of photos for them to get jealous over if they can't make it. I think my parents will come over for the wedding but not sure there will be many others, thats ok with me though - as long as Alan and I are there (and his son.)

After much deliberation our first dance is going to be Micheal Buble - Everything :) I'm hoping its just going to be a small event, the last thing i need when I finally get there is wedding stress! Haven't given much thought to a honeymoon, maybe we'll just have a minimoon in the mountains for the weekend or something.

I wanna play the wedding game too! We are going to have a courthouse wedding as soon as Corrie gets here from Holland with his Visa. Hopefully next fall we will be able to do a big ceremony but if not within the next couple of years. We are going to have it on a big boat http://www.twincitiescruises.com/photo2.html on the Mississippi river in front of the Minneapolis skyline. Our wedding song will be Lonestar-Amazed. It was the first song I thought of and then I asked Corrie what his suggestions were without telling him mine, and he said the same song so amazed it is :)

Enjoy your visit with your fiance! Corrie comes back in 52 days, I cant wait :)!!

Bex- Baby and I are doing great. I have been on bedrest for 12 weeks now due to an incompetent cervix but I only have 7.5 more weeks til I can start moving around more again. Time moves slow being in bed all day, but I love feeling Nico kicking and moving and it is worth it to have him healthy! I have an almost 4 year old son too who is super excited to be a big brother.
