NOA2: Approved Notice-Valid date?

Hello everyone.

I was wondering if the Valid date meant that, the time frame they will give the Consulate or Embassy to give the interview? For example: ours reads

Notice Type: Approval Notice

Valid from 02/29/2008 to 06/29/2008

The valid date don't seem to have any type of bearing on your case. The embassy entirely ignores it if your interview is scheduled passed that date. My NOA 2 date for K-3, which is the same as K-1, passed before my wife had her interview.

Oh yeah! Mine is valid also just for 4 months. Does it mean that we will have our interview before it expires? Just wondering....

Our NOA2 end date was 2/25/08 and Thi's interview was 2/27/08. So your fiance's interview could be around your end date if there are no problems or delays at the Consulate. In any case, the Consulate will extend the I-129f approval for an additional four months when your case is at the Consulate if additional time is needed before her interview.
