Hi mates,

Have not been around to catch up on the gossip lately, but if anyone has been approved anywhere in the system - congrats!!!

Sorta a quirky question for some members that have gone through this process-

What has been the average time waiting to receive the "MYSTERIOUS ENVELOPE" from USCIS with regards to an RFE - I mean one week, one month, one year??? I dont want to seem impatient after the fiasco for waiting for an NOA1 - but was wondering.

Told my lawyer in between my work and sleeping that if not received by Monday October 10th, to call them cause I am not buzzing that number anymore, and with an RFE on both applications, something is missing -

Cheers and look forward to comments on wait time.

NVC JOURNEY BEGINS

4/07 NV Case number assigned

6/09 tax transcript for 2007 just became available -whoot

6/20 NVC receives everything nothing more to give them now just close eyes and pray

6/23 NVC enters into system

6/26 NVC - RFE uggh - wants all three years of Federal tax return listed and they lost originals or so they say - DING DING ROUND TWO

7/25 NVC Case completed whooottttttttt

8/7 Case forward to US EMBASSY LONDON OH YEAHHHHHHHH -

Embassy - case out for delivery to embassy via DHL sneaky us lol

08/10Received

08/19 Medical Exam completed - healthy oh yeah!!!!!!!!

9/26 @8am -Interview - approved VISA IN HAND OMG WHOOT!!! HELLO AMERICA MY LUV

POE- Atlanta then MCO - October 15th with the cat "GIT" on board lol - POE SUPER SWEET

Husband home finally - god what a journey....but after 400+ days we made it

well when I got my RFE back on Dec 11th, I got the blue paper about 4 days later. I am sorry to hear about the RFE ( yuck..been there done that #######) I wish you the very best and hope this info helped a lil. :)

How do you know you have an RFE before the paper request is sent to you? I am lost here. Do you check the RFE line and it says so? Just wondering cause I would like to check if I have one if that is even possible.

I've just called the RFE line an entered my case number and it says "You need to submit the evidence that was requested. If you have already submitted evidence and need to ...blah blah blah." Then I went on to speak to a CSR. They said that they didn't see that I needed to request evidence. So what is going on?

Did the CSR really not see anything. Is the automated response a "standard" response or do I really have an RFE? My case has never been touched since NOA1 back in January. Does anyone have info on this?

Just got our letter after two weeks - and it was something that had been sent but oohhhhhh we lost it (no they dont say that) they just pretend we are the donkeys - pfftttt.....

Hi Susie,

How are you? I got an RFE in the mail on march 6, because my marriage certificate didn't have a government stamp, well I sent them one with a gov. stamp on the 8th, they recieved it on the 10th, but today I look at my case online and it said that "as of March 14th, an RFE was sent to you" I don't know if it is a mistake, I called on the 14th and spoke with CSC RFE customer service, maybe they looked at it already, I dunno.
