Ok ok...it wasn't what we expected but it went VERY smoothly....DETAIL DETAILS....

Ok I ended up not going with him to the interview...for personal reasons...but here is his account:

He arrived at the embassy at 6:45am and 8 others were there...no line...just mingling. He was told they were not allowed to form a line till later. They later formed TWO lines..one for immigrants and one for non immigrants. They took in the immigrants first. He was 3rd in line of the non immigrants. (We are K1). After going inside at 7:30am they searched his bag, had him turn off phone, and gave him his number (#26 for those that want extreme details) He then took a seat. Eventually he was called to window (#7 for those who REALLY want to know) to hand them his originals and passport. They then gave him the papers to fill out for DHL and sent him to pay. (very positive people if u ask me) He was then called for his fingerprints and made to sit again to wait for interview. FINALLY he is called at around 11:15AM to a window with an American woman. He was asked if he wanted interview in english, he said yes. (His english is excellent) She had himi fill in my name and sign that form and swear all the information was true and correct. They then proceeded with a 20 minute...yes I said 20 minute interview.

1, How did you meet?

2. Did she tell you her real age when you met online from the start?

3. Why do you want to marry someone older then you?

4. Did you know she was married before

5. How many times was she married?

6. What was the nationality of her last husband?

7. What does she do for a living?

8. How many times have you met?

9. She has XX dollars in her account, who paid for the trips?

10. How did she pay for the trips?

11. (forgot one) When was her last divorce?

12. What do you do for a living?

13. Where does she live?

14. Where do you live?

15. What does your father do for a living?

16. Does she have kids?

17. How many?

18. What are their names?

19. How old is the oldest?

20. How old are YOU? (hehehe..would have loved to been there to see that one)

21. Where will you live when you go there to USA?

22. SHE ASKED IF WE HAD EVIDENCE....

23. SHE ASKED IF WE HAD PICS

24. What do you love about here?

She said..ok..go sit for a few moments. After 5 minutes or so, she called him back and said...

CONGRATULATIONS.. you have a GOOD case...I am recommending you for approval. He asked about his passport...she said they had to keep it to stamp the visa in it. And said he'd have it back in about 2-3 weeks (stock answer). Then said..do you know you need to marry her in the 1st 90 days? He said,, yes...but it will be within the first 2 weeks. She smiled..said to have a good day.

He said she smiled alot was very friendly and it was more conversational. She was amazed with our evidence and smiled...asking him just to point out a few items...so he showed her the packet with our mailings, our section of emails, with a few dated from different dates, our call records and sms records and let her know that those and the chat logs were ONLY in the past year...becasue there was just to much.

He said he got a very very good feeling about the whole interview and said she was very polite and really just was verifying our relationship to satisfy her mind so she can continue with visa. She did state she was the consular that would be working our case. Over all it was a polite and pleasent experience for him and Im sort of glad I didnt go. He handled it very well...

Thats my story..and Im sticking to it...

My feeling is she wanted to verify our relationships validity and that i wasnt be bought for visa...but..in end he made her aware that we had a friendship LONG before love and that after 4 years we were sure this is what we wanted. That I couldn't move right now due to caring for parents and taht this was our best option for now. I was thankful they ASKED to see the evidence..and soo glad we took in the binders FILLED with alllllll we had. He feels we'll get fast visa...well...Im not AS optomistic..Im a bit worried they will still put us in AP and home visit. they did NOT ask if his parents met me or approved...so I guess we will see...

Thanks for the well wishes...

Finally....CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Thank you...yes finally..sorry it took so long...but the windows crashed on his back up laptop...and he had to redo them today for me..so I could get on to tell you all the news...He was very happy with how friendly she was and said she smiled alot. The answers he said he gave we VERY smooth and VERY well put..like when she asked why he wanted to marry an older woman...he said...its not about her age...we built a friendship that turned to love. I want to marry HER...her age is not what makes her who she is inside. (thats my guy...lol) (gotta love him) If anyone wants to know his answers..please message me in private...

just a question...how did they know how much is in your bank account? Does the embassy really have access to all of our financial information or is it just from the statements that you have to send them?

It sounds like it went extremely well! Thank you for posting your details!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I think that's why some people are being re-interviewed since they have realized he was way out of line with a lot of us. That makes me feel a little better but alhumdulilah for it all, you know?

Its from the bank letter..BUT...lol...I hope she understands..THATS why I DONT have a lot of money left in there...FROM ALL THOSE TRIPS!!!! DUHHHHHHHHH...if they paid me...I'd have alot more in there...and I guess it wasn't till the end when he verified that I live with my parents to take care of them..seemed to click..that I dont have overhead...he told her I saved hard to pay for them and we had trips only once a year until THIS year. I dont think she had it in her mind at THAT moment this was 5 trips OVER 4 years...and its only about a 1500 dollar -2000 dollar trip..I dont have a mortgage...soooooo...of course I can afford it...BUT i also pay to live at my parents home as well..so its just a matter of saving at the right time what i need...duhhh...lol...i'd have soo much saved..if i didnt take those trips...
