hi all,

I am the beneficiary. My SO want to join VJ also as from what i told him it does help us a lot. He wants to create new ID ....I told him it would be better to use my ID and Password as it does not duplicate timeline....Is that ok ?

you both can have a name, just direct on one to see the timeline on the other persons i have seen that done a few times

Many keep two profiles.

As for timeline, one profile can be linked to the timeline, and the other can have a link to the timeline as I have in my signature below.

IMO he should use a different ID so people know if its you or him posting a question w/o asking "which one are you L or P"? i suggest "P & L" for his ID.....there are a lot of couples on VJ & when they use the same ID the "which one are you" question is asked a lot.

Yeah, please have him make a separate ID if you're both going to be posting. There are some people here that share accounts and it gets confusing when you don't know which one is posting. And even though you might say you'll just sign your name so we know, you will on occasion forget. So please make it easier on us all and make 2 accounts.

I think it's fun having only one account, I'll get online and see that our signature or timeline as been updated. Kathy doesn't post often, but when she does, she always signs her name at the bottom. I'm much more lazy about that though.

Personally, I'd have trouble putting it together that 2 seperate profiles are one couple. That's just me though.

Thanks for the laugh. I really meant I'd have trouble figuring out that 2 dis-similar names are one couple. Or if the names are similar, I probably wouldn't notice the difference and assume it is only 1 profile.

If you make another profile it will help make VJ stats look good as members wise

but we all here know that VJ is still the best!!

I think a joint account is best, but you will probably just want to sign your posts with the appropriate name, as I've seen others do.
