I’m so happy I got my I-130 approved!! They “put aside” my I-129 so I guess that won’t happen.

But at this point I will take anything they give me. However, now I have a bunch of questions.

1) Does it really take 4-5 months at NVC?

2) Does it really take 8-12 months once NVC is done for Juarez to schedule an appointment?

3) Will the forms also be sent to me? I am so worried because the mail in Mex sucks and you can get it 1-2 months late or not at all.

Thanks for you help.

Congratulations! NVC process can be complete in about 3 months, if you use the shortcut and take about 4 months, if you dont use the shortcut and there is no RFE.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Congratulations. Now maybe you can stop supporting "Lurking's" argument that K-3s are still be processed...as you are now one of the administratively closed K-3 filers.

I'm so glad you took the time to be "helpful" and not a "wiseguy" as you mentioned in your numerous posts. You truly "guide" people in their journeys, I don't know what I would do without your "wise" advice.

Just so you understand, I only argued that neither you or me should tell other people not to file the K-3. I was against advicing anyone to not file based on my experience. If you misunderstood that then I'm sorry.

Lurkin and I hoped to get the K-3 but understand USCIS is unpredictable. But I also understood we are at their mercy and would proceed with the IR1 if that was the path they chose for me. What idiot wouldn't? Even though I didn't, I'm truly for happy lucky ones that did get their K-3 approved and hope that more get through the USCIS' bureaucracy.

PEACE!

Not suggesting you not voice your views, just don't care for your style of doing it. As i said, you'll get more help (like your asking for now) when you loose the attitude.

Good luck with the CR-1.

I don't have an attitude, you just weren't in agreement with what I was saying. But we both have that right as you mention.

Again, PEACE!
