We dont have an interview schedule yet..... waiting for the packet. My fiance' will be flying to Philippines in April 26th and will stay for 50 days. We will be spending 3 days in Manila and fly to Cebu and stay for the rest of the 50 days unless if we will have my interview within. Im sure I will have my packet by then but nobody knows when will be my medical and interview date til it arrives. My question is, is it possible to have my medical in advance to the date to what it says in the packet? Im thinking it would save us money if I can have my medical during our 3 days in Manila. I dont like the idea of having a week gap from medical exam to the interview date... it is pretty spendy to stay in Manila but I know I have no choice.

Thanks in advance!!!

I don't know anything about medicals in the Phillippines so I won't respond to that aspect, but I do know that once you get to the US and marry, your medical needs to be current (within one year) when you adjust status. If your medical is more than a year old you will need to have it again, which will add a few hundred dollars to the cost.

You will need a scheduled interview for you can have an early medical...however it is possible for you to have an early medical without the packet as long as you already have a scheduled interview printed online....

This depends on the embassy, I believe. I know that in our case (Trinidad & Tobago), my fiancée had no problem doing so. I think in the Philippines, you need to have a visa interview scheduled, but I am not sure.

I think your best bet is to contact SLEC. If anyone would know for sure, it'd be them!!

SLEC is located at 1177 J. Bocobo St., Ermita, Manila. They can be reached by telephone at 521-0020 and 521-8647. SLEC is open from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
