this poll sucks. first of, ####### is up with people???? multiple choice? oh, I'm gonna vote yes and no at the same time  and then ####### is up with the second question? we're not all USC waiting for our SO, make the question available for everybody to answer. God damn it!

Geez.. its my first poll, chill out for the love of God. :) lol

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

why not? because it's selfish. if you realistically can't afford to have a child, then it's understandable, but if you can but are just too worried about having to cut back in some of your luxuries, then it's selfish behavior, IMHO.

we only want 1-2 kids (neil wants 2 so we have a backup incase something happens to one SERIOUSLY) which we will probably adopt because I'm too selfish and don't want to go through the pain and suffering. plus why have our own kids when there are tons of kids out there waiting for a family. we don't want them anytime soon though. maybe 5-10yrs down the road. we still have way too many things we want to do before we have a family. mainly travel stuff and I'm sure world travel is not easy and not as fun when you're hauling around kids

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

you talk like you can just snap your fingers and adopt a baby just like that.

I don't think it is selfish. That person is someone who is probably correct not to want children. Wrong personality, values for the job.

Luxuries are in the eye of the beholder.

I can't believe you guys :bonk: you can't just not have kids just because they're expensive. What about things that money can't buy that kids provide, like unconditional love, suffering, annoyance, disrespect?

oh i got married for those

My husband and I do want children - but not for a couple of years when we're better established here. We're both in our mid-twenties and neither one of us has children and we'd like to have a family together. We plan on having two children, but if that doesn't happen (having any kids) then that's what is meant to be.

We have one(he's new! hehe)...waited about 2 1/2 years after Sujeet moved here/got married before we started trying.

I always said I wanted 2. At the moment, I am scared about recovering from another c-section and my labor was so long that I'd be afraid to try it that way again. It's too fresh in my mind. I am hoping "time heals all wounds" and I will be up for going through it again in a couple years. If not, there is always adoption but it's not an easy thing to go through either.
