If you look click on the 'last 3 months' once into the statistics ..... it states that Vermont is down to 69 days between NOA1 and NOA2. Jgay80, you've had your NOA1 for 30 odd days, so it will be interesting to see if you get the NOA2 within the next 30 days or so.

I hope so, as it will be in keeping with the timeline.

It all seems rather confusing, as sgr's timeline link states 49 days between NOA1 - NOA2 from Vermont.

Then there are those that filed back in July/August etc who haven't had their NOA2 yet.

These timelines are making me think that when you filed is irrelevant .... it's beginning to look like when your NOA1 was dated which counts.

A sucky thought for most, but it is only my opinion based on these statistics.

Actually .... here's one that will really cook your noodle .... I went into timelines and tapped in Vermont .... then looked for those with a NOA1 after January 10th 2008.

There's been 1 NOA2 so far out of the 42 of us that got NOA1 since January 10th. And that person waited 65 days to NOA1 ..... their NOA2 was given 14 days later!!!

This is exactly what I was saying in my earlier post .... It's really beginning to look to me that's what's more important, is the date on your NOA1 .... just check out the timelines for yourself.

Again, I will say that it's sucky for most .... but from that 14 day approval, I wouldn't kick the thought of Vermont speeding up out of your mind just yet.

Oh, Newbie....so wet behind the ears. Actually your NOA1 date means fiddle. Its your filing date that you should be looking at. As of now its around 5-6+ months to get an NOA2 from your initial filing date. No matter when your NOA1 came.

Some folks who filed way back in August didnt get NOA1 til Dec., and then got NOA2 in Jan, Feb, or March. Some STILL have not got NOA2. So you should be tracking the NOA2 dates in the VJ Timelines along with the FILING date. Cause that NOA1 really means kuput.

Check out this timeline in more detail.....its a bit more true than the one you are studying:

VSC Timeline

I notice there are a few filers throwing off the curve in the VSC timeline, thats why those averages aren't very good to base things on, you should bas things on the step by step details of the process.  That will give you a better estimate.  Now you cn somehow get lucky and leave the pack...not sure how this happens for some, plus many people fill their timeline in incorrect....this too will throw off the curve and have you want to pull your hair out.

I've checked out the NOA2 timelines .... and sgr has every right to presume what he's presuming and I've every right to be supportive to him.

There are a ton of black and white facts to show that there is a definite average of between 49-90 days (depending on which timeline you look at) for NOA2 from Vermont .... check out Delicia's spreadsheet too, she's done some serious work there.

An average is an average .... some people wait longer and some not so long ... and it shows that when you file has been 'occssionally' irrelevant. I guess some peoples files just look a little more inviting than others ... let's not forget that the adjudicators are human too.

It's not my fault that the system is all a bit messed up and slow due to a backlog .... so, please do not be unpleasant in your words to others .... we're all in the same boat.

Some people just need to have an idea as to exactly how long this 'piece of string' journey is going to be, and it's better to give them hope that they may one of the lucky ones .... because you never know .... sgr may just be one of those lucky ones.

Oh, and I may be a newbie on this site ..... but I'm not so wet behind the ears thankyou .... I've had a greencard before.

Wow! I think you completely mis understood what I was saying. The wet behind the ears thing is a joke, from a famoius comedian that i guess you don't know so its all good. I didn't it would get you so fired up.

Sorry, yes, I totally misunderstood .... this writing thing can really be misconstrued at times .... sorry for being snappish, some people are mean on here and obvious with it ... I didn't realise you were making a joke (F)
