Folks

As some of you have no doubt seen, those desiring the horribly named "advance parole" (permission to re-enter the US after departing during pending AOS etc) are now required to have a biometrics appointment. They need our fingerprints on the document...

I was wondering if anyone has been to a biometrics appointment in the last two days without being aware of this? Has USCIS made you aware of it? Will they just use the data from the AOS/EAD biometrics appointment for those who has an appointment recently?

My appointment letter, dated 2/20/08, only mentions the AOS and EAD. Since my appointment is this Sat, 3/08/08, I now fall under these new rules.

It would be smooth if USCIS managed to help us meet the new requirements w/o forcing to return to the local office for a second appointment in a few weeks time...

 expecting too much???
