Worried about I 130 package sent in Nov.

Hello everyone, first off i wanted to say thank you to everyone on here, i have gotten more information here than i have anywhere else. I have been worried since December about my I 130 package( wish i had been on this forum before hand) that I had sent in Nov. I had sent everything except one thing, the additional attachments for bonafides of marriage, I had thought that i had everything under control until i started going over my package and the instructions again. The marriage certificate was sent of course but the additional evidence was not. Has anyone gotten an RFE for this or know people that are getting an RFE for it?

In the event that I do get one for that I have already gotten signed affidavits from 1 friend and 2 fmily members, I suppose that i am getting antsy because November filers seem to be coming up in the next 2 months and as we all know the wait is long enough as it is.

Hi - as far as I know, it is a new requirement. It changed after I first printed the forms and instructions - probably in October November before I got married.

Then just as I was ready to submit the package at the end of December, luckily I saw the new information, so I held off on my applications, getting the letters and more photos, etc.

So I think you are OK that you didn't send it in, just bring all that stuff to the interview...

Please count me in. I am a November CR1 filer. I also forgot to include any bona fide marriage evidences other then my marriage certificate. I have included it with my I-129F applications. I am expecting to get REF in the next couple months.

Updated my time line ^^ I hope that it will not cause a RFE, I did do a bit of web searching today (for about 2 hours (:_ ) and from a few other forums I can see that Im not alone in not including the other evidence. Thanks for the reply everyone as well as the luck. I think we all need some luck.

Its not a new requirement. I filed back in May and the instructions already mentioned additional evidence back then.

I suggest to get those affidavits notarized. Its not worth much if they arent notarized.

No you're not alone. The instructions mentioned including additional evidence. But that doesnt mean your petition wont be approved without it. Some people get away without additional evidence, some get RFE'd. It all depends on the adjucator.

Well , in December I went into a bit of a panic I guess you could say, with the back log and all I didnt know if I did things right, if they would reject the application , or if I would get RFE'd so I got them notarized and done by my family and friends in a 2 day time span. Yeah ...........Just a bit of a freak out Thanks again.

Our affidavits weren't notarized and it didn't cause any problems for us. However, I don't know if anything has changed since when we sent in our I 130 back in June.

if you get your stuff early send in the same day you received your RFE it will be faster.

i wait for 1 months before i could get the paper work back and send to them
