Can someone tell me what this question is asking for? A previous question (question #5) asks about the petitioner's willingness to support the beneficiaries, so what is question #11 getting at? Thanks for your help.

11. I intend do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnishroom and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lumpsum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.

I think this question is more for co-sponsors than for fiances, or for other sorts of petitions being made than the K-1 (family members, etc. - same form has to be filled out by people applying for other petitions than the K-1).

If you're the fiance, people usually either just put "N/A" here or something like "I will support my spouse in all ways through marriage" or "we will be financially interdependent in marriage."

If you have a co-sponsor, the co-sponsor can put any specific ways they plan to help, such as with furniture, somewhere to live, whatever, or just something more vague like "I will give financial assistance when needed."

I haven't heard of anyone getting an RFE or having any problems with what they put down for this question

Summer 2001 - met my Scottish boy

December 18th, 2007 - proposal in Madrid's Botanical Gardens with a duck standing behind him going 'food?'

January 18th, 2008 - I-129F sent to VSC

January 31st, 2008 - received NOA1, issued Jan. 24 :)

February 24th, 2008 - NOA2; omgwtfbbqlolz

February 29th, 2008 - NVC letter sent

Take a look at the example given for I-134:

http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf

For #11, they wrote:

N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )

That's what I intend to write for mine. Unless someone else can corrcet me?

I have found the Example Forms to be of great help when completing all of the forms!
