You were really thinking outside the bun with this one nessa!

The great philosopher Joyce gave me the idea.

I (L) Joyce more than I love celery!

would you eat Joyce?

No, I will simply continue to worship her hair helmet from afar!

well darn, time to put away the video camera. :(

Is this thread designed to test the theory that people will respond to absolutely anything if they get to share their opinion?

:bonk::P

I bought some celery the other day, but ended up throwing it out because it lacked enough experience.

If there's a phone call at 3am, I want to be sure that the celery in my fridge is tough enough to make the right decision.

I like celery to a point. It is nice in my stew and I do cut it up and take to work often. It will never replace a tripble Classic from Wendys in my heart :blink:

This thread proves the theory that most people cannot cook or don't want to.

huh?? :lol:

OK, that may have been a bit harsh...

However, read up on some of the comments here...Have celery, don't know what to do with it, stringy stuff and so forth.... Cut, slice or dice the celery and use it, unless you are allergic or hate it so much, that you can detect it's minor presence in a prepared dish.

Celery, carrots and onions are essential to many preparations of food we eat daily.

....and as an herb, cilantro provides that lovely flourish when celery just won't work....
