You can't make vegetable/chicken soup without celery, not good soup anyways. It's crisp and refreshing raw, but I prefer carrot sticks.

I find that if celery is left in the fridge for a few days it becomes really limp. Nothing worse than limp celery.

I have a bunch right now I don't know what to do with.

Eat it! I actually like celery, but I have to peel the outer layer off so I don't get those nasty "threads" in my teeth. I will stuff celery with cream cheese mixed with green olives (yummy) or dip it in blue cheese dressing is yummy too! It really cools off your mouth if you are having some real Buffalo chicken wings!

I believe its actual purpose was to ensare a certain phallis boasting member into making comparison statements. However, we all know that it wasn't really necessary. Any topic naturally lends itself to phallic comparisons.
