Our interview said 8:30 AM, but of course we arrived before the consulate opened, around 7:15.

We were done around 11...it was busy little morning. Could probably be safe with Noon and after depending on how far it is.

Yours is scheduled for the morning?

My wife and I were at the embassy extremely early, second in line, and we were there until after 12:00. I'd make it later just to be safe and so you're not getting nervous at the Consulate about missing your ride :) Good luck!

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

I was there early and second in line. I was out by 11 and I caught the Greyhound at 12 or 1...I don't remember.

In the end you don't have to worry. Just get there as soon as you can and catch the next bus. You don't book your ticket by what time you'll catch the bus so don't worry.

I HATE miles, gallons, pints, words spelled without u's, and all that other jazz...

I had my K-1 interview in Montreal as well (also from Toronto) - got there bright and early at 6:45am to be first in line. When they opened the doors at 7:30am, I got letter A and was guaranteed to do everything first. I would highly recommend this b/c you don't have to wait for anyone in front of you!! Depending on your situation and your paperwork, it might take longer. My case was pretty cut and dry (I'm Canadian born, never married - my fiance is American - no complications) - so they didn't take long to review my paperwork. The interview for us (my fiance was there) took 5-10 mins max! We were out by 9:30am. But it doesn't hurt to book the later bus in the afternoon just to give you time to relax, eat, etc. After all the stress of the morning leading up to the interview - you'll definetly want to take time to breathe!

Good luck!
