I Just wanted to know How long after the submission of the I-130 do we recieve Packet 3?

We had our 1st interview and our petition was initially approved.....when should we expect to recieve the email confirmation and recieve packet 3?

it would help if your time line was filled in. Which embassy is your petition at? My husband received his packet in 3-4 after it was at the embassy.

Thank you for your message and advise, I'll work on my Time line asap but there's not much to say!

We submitted at a DCF in the US Embassy in Cairo and thats where I am currently staying with my husband.That was almost 2 months back but we still havent received any feedback.

Im sorry Maureen but I didnt understand what you meant by "My husband received his packet in 3-4 after it was at the embassy."

I was thinking it was usually between 3 and 5 months but don't mark my words on it. There are others who filed the same as u who can give better (and more accurate) time frames than I can.
